Pros +
- There was nothing good about this hotel
- Location
- I felt I needed to do a review again, having stayed here twice before, and leaving favourable reviews.Since my last stay a couple of years ago I think the hotel has changed ownership, and the vibe has definitely changed.First the good things....the bed was comfortable, the heating was on and the room was always warm, and the hot water was always hot in the shower. And the location is good too.
Cons -
- It was that disgusting we didn’t even stay, it was full of migrants and unsafe I would seriously suggest removing it from your site
- Filthy worn carpeting corridors
- The furniture could do with updating

I felt I needed to do a review again, having stayed here twice before, and leaving favourable reviews.Since my last stay a couple of years ago I think the hotel has changed ownership, and the vibe has definitely changed.First the good things....the bed was comfortable, the heating was on and the room was always warm, and the hot water was always hot in the shower. And the location is good too.
The bad things.....the room I stayed in was definitely in need of attention. It looked shabby, old, and neglected. On arrival I was greeted by one helpful person in reception....but after that the reception was either left unattended, or with persons that did not look approachable. When going to the room there were no towels. And although when I went to reception I was given two towels, these were then not changed for the duration of my six day stay!In fact nobody serviced the room at all in those six days, not even to refresh the tea facilities. The general feel of being there is not that you are in a hotel, but in a hostel, and I didn't like that. The only thing that saves the hotel is that it is cheap, and the bed, hot water, and warm room, and the location. But would I be tempted to spend a bit more money and go somewhere else next time?...probably. it is definitely not somewhere I could take my partner!
Location and price
The pictures of the room were not like we got they were rundown , doors damaged like had forced entry , showers were dirty and also a female tampon under bed .there was adults hanging around hallways all though the night being very noisy .
Great location and cheap. Free parking outside.
Stains all over the walls, thin walls and ceilings. Drunk people having arguments at night. This is a cheap, budget hotel. If you’re ok with that it’s ok
The hotel room was clean and spacious compared to the price. However, the staff were very slow in providing service and responding to guest requests. This needs improvement.
The staff response was slow, and customer service needs improvement.
We had a group floor room. Big window we could open. Shower was lovely.
Tv didn't work No hair dryerOn of the electrical sokets didn't work had to ask for towels as none were in the room Room stunk of smoke (These people have just taken over so I will be going back at a later date to see the changes)
I’m not very happy with...
The shower over flowed The tv had no signal and no areal No heating in the property it was freezing cold
Location to the seafront was great.
It was filthy and dilapidated state of disrepair door handles fell off shower door fell off and bedding was dirty
Welcoming staff, easy access, plenty of car space, room very clean
No towels,no extra warm bedding,no heating and poor damaged curtains with a really small tv with no remote
Good location. Clean bathroom and lovey clean linen. Beds comfy.
Tired and need updating and decorating. TV did not work.
Rom was clean and warm
Noise from other guests late at night
The location and view from our room
Had to wait over half an hour for someone to come to reception to get our key on arrival.Windows blow a gail through them they look like they are about to fall out.No towels were provided until we asked on second day. Pillows are like breeze blocks.Only one toilet roll provided on arrival had to ask for another.Lift not working. Stairs are dangerously worn and metal stops they have used to try and make good are lifting and dangerous.
Great location, good value for money
Kitchen roll instead of toilet paper which didn't flush, staff said they would bring pillow cases up as we checked in but they didn't which meant we had to go back and ask later in the day
Nothing at all, looks nothing like the photos. Very very run down
Stained bed sheets, out dated, walls falling apart, rusty taps and radiators, beds were ridiculously uncomfortable, we didn’t even stay we checked into the room and left shortly after.
Location is good but that’s all it had going for it. Communal area was nice but being used as a social area for friends not staying at the hotel.
Where do I begin. The carpets on the stairs almost worn out and black with grime. Bedding stained with goodness knows what. I’ll fitting toilet seat. Room smelt musty on entering the room. No restaurant no bar. Had initially planned for a 3 night stay left after the first night.
The shower was good, plenty of hot water.
We were in a room by the stairs and it was extremely noisy. Also the noise from the room above was dreadful when they walked across the floor. The door to the room was a very poor fit. No bath mat which I believe is very important for health and safety especially when you are stepping out on to what appeared to be a vinyl flooring.
I paid £30 and got a large sea view room on the first floor. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. No hot water but managed to fill up the sink with the shower hose!. No heating in the room but not really cold. Good tea and coffee facilities and the TV was also good. The reception staff were very friendly. The real downside was the state of the stairs carpet which was really grotty and the corridors were very old and tired. For £30 it did its job.No restaurant or breakfast. probably as it was in early feb.Would I stay again? Yes, but not with my wife.
Tired halls
The location was great and the beds comfortable.
Worst place I have ever stayed! It was more like a hostel than a hotel. Building is extremely old and in need of a refurb. The hotel doors could be pushed in from the outside. There were cobwebs, marks all over the walls and our shower door was broken. When u had a shower the shower tray didn’t drain away the water. The floor throughout the hotel was unstable and felt like you would fall through any moment. Other guests were fighting arguing and being loud. Not a nice place to stay what so ever won’t be returning.
