Pier Hotel

Food and service was good. The room was quite comfortable.

There were cobwebs on the main light fitting in the room. The toilet seat wouldn’t stay up without being held. The radiator was noisy when turned up.

Staff very friendly and food was great with large portions

A very minor thing but as I'm short some chairs left my legs dangling and uncomfortable.

We received a warm cheerful welcome from the receptionist on our arrival. The hotel has a cosy ambience and all the staff including the house keeping ladies are friendly and professional. My fiance and I really enjoyed our stay there.

Staff, Room Food all excellent

We were delighted with the room. the decor, the furniture, pictures etc and the bathroom was something special. All the staff were obliging and very friendly and the meals were good, especially the breakfast. We invited local relatives to join us for dinner and we found the food and the service very good.

I stayed at The Pier Hotel as my elderly mother was taken seriously ill and was in the local hospital. As a result I was staying at the hotel on a day by day basis and was in 3 different rooms over a period of 6 days. All of the rooms were very good. Very clean and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and great walk in showers. The first room I was in had a fantastic view over the beach (photo from room attached). Restaurant was very art deco (photo attached). Staff were really pleasant and helpful with my situation. Breakfast was very good with a good choice. I had one evening meal in the restaurant which again, was very good. I would definitely be happy to stay here again, although hopefully under better circumstances

Do have a job parkin.If you stay on first floor with sea, very. At around 7.30 am, do have window cleaner at window. Did not expect that.

Beautiful inside the hotel the food was delicious service was amazing staff very friendly and helpful giving us advice on bus services.hotel right on the beach front. Booked the suite and it was a wow as you opened the door. It had a balcony which we used a lot sat out there and just listened to the sea and watched the world just pass us by very relaxing.

Had a problem with the air conditioning in our room which unfortunately couldn’t be fixed during our stay

View from our room was amazing, spa bath in the bathroom was a nice touch, breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked this as our honeymoon night and were not disappointed. Shame we didn't book for longer!!!

The fact that we didn't book for another night so we could explore a bit more and use the spa bath again!!!
