    • The location is good and the sea views

    Cons -

    • Walls very thin ,not much sleep ,person in the next room had his tv blaring all night
    • Don't be afraid of thr initial view of the property in the winter, with bare vines on the building. It looked grey and drab on the wet afternoon of arrival. There's a gem of a hotel inside and room 205 was perfect.
    • Elevator never works! It’s like a maze trying to find your room , always a walk to get there , could of had a mini fridge in the room especially for the price we paid for a sea view room ,

We have stayed here a few times before. It's always clean and the location is perfect. Beach and town all within a short walk. Rooms are clean and just what we needed for a short stay

The only thing we had was the hot water was very hit and miss this time and the shower wasn't great.

Location and cleanliness and sea view.

Bed was a little firm and pillows a bit flat but nothing to spoil stay.

Very friendly staff . Lovely room clean and comfortable and a good size only thing missing was a fridge . Lovely shower . Great view of the sea from the room . Ideal location nr the pavilion and town .

Breakfast was continental with a satisfactory choice of cereal, yogurt, toast & marmalade/jams, hot croissants and fresh fruit...tea and coffee...very nice. The staff were so helpful with luggage, directions to car park etc, very friendly staff. Lovely sea view. Car park was about 5 minutes away and special overnight rate for staying at Fairhaven Hotel which was very good.

The bathroom light was in a corridor on way to the bathroom which was a little awkward in the night but managed...very basic room but perfectly adequate for short stay....

Worth every penny for the view! Great sized room and only a stone's throw from the beach.

    Room was a bit cold.

Very helpful staff, a good location but no parking. Room was lovely and warm and comfortable.

Back bedroom so no sea view, it appeared the further up the hotel you got the decor was not the greatest. No parking.

Excellent situation for the Pavilion show we were seeing

The hotel needs some tlc - the carpets were old & fraying in places. The blankets provided in the bedrooms were old (but clean). The bathroom window wood was rotten in places & no heating in the bathroom.

The location was great and on the sea front in Weymouth. The staff were all great and very helpful. The room was good, nice comfortable beds and a small heater to keep the bedroom warm. You just needed it to take the chill off the room, so just had it on one overnight.

Only a small continental breakfast , so only had that once. No parking at hotel, but you do get a good discount if you park in the millennium car park and you have to say you are staying in the Fairhaven hotel for to get the special deal, which is £6.00 for up to 24 hours. It saves you a lot of money, so that is very good ! Every day if you go out and about, you pay £6.00 a day when your car is in the car park overnight .

The sea view was beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty to eat and drink near by.

A proper breakfast wasnt an option. The base on the shower floor came off.

It's close to the beach front good location to town centre staff are friendly and informative

As I have a disability with mobility i struggled to go up and down the stairs there is a lift but i still had to go up and down stairs to get to my room but due to the build of the hotel it's not possible to change the stairs to get to my room from the lift

Location and size, and helpful gentleman on reception (josh possibly?)

Nothing really... but In the picture on booking.com there appeared to be 3 sofas... there was only one on arrival.. and being a large apartment sleeping 8 people wasn't sufficient really.

Staff were kind.. and situation of the hotel is perfect

Room was feezing, we was on the 2nd floor 262 and it had no radiators not even in the bathroom, we stayed for new years eve and we was so cold we had to sleep in our clothes and coats. These rooms need a little heat at least.

    1ColePosted on: 12-29-2025

The short distance to the town

Very cold throughout the building had to roll up towels and put in window seal as very drafty freezing in bathroom and toilet I'm surprised the penguins didn't arrive

    1AndyPosted on: 12-27-2025

    Location was great

Coldest hotel stay I have ever had.. we slept in our clothes it was that cold...one small electric heater in the room, no heating of any kind in the bathroom, not even a heated towel rail.absoloutly freezing..rest of the hotel was no better..STAY AWAY IN THE WINTER MONTHS...I'm sure it's lovely in the summer .
