It’s just a bit basic

Comfortable and staff very friendly and breakfast was great

Lovely staff, comfortable room, comfortable bed, lovely freshly cooked breakfast, and a lovely Sunday carvery,

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Had a poor night's sleep. Walls are very thin, could hear the man snoring next door, very loud all night.

The location was excellent. Close to all amenities and pubs/bars. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast was nice too.

I wasn’t keen on the cooked Breakfast, the bacon was grey, I overheard other clients saying it wasn’t nice also. Orange juice & butter was nice.

A lovely traditional hotel in a great location with some lovely spaces and a very nice lounge area. Room was spacious, very clean and airy. Staff were great, welcoming and very helpful. Great value too.

I love coming back to the Crown, staff make you feel so welcome, hotel is pretty close to most of the local amenities, I have been coming back for over three years, and it's always a great place

Reception staff were excellent. Centralised location. Value for money.

The breakfast was amazing quick and helpful breakfast staff and was impressed with the amount of options available. Location was perfect with car parking nearby at reasonable prices

Room and bathroom very cold - single glazed windows so could hear the noise from street also no only coffee in room so unable to have a morning tea before getting ready. Also trying to enter the property at night was if they did not believe we were staying at the property. Did not feel very welcoming or professional.

Staff at reception were very pleasant. The price I paid for the very comfortable room with breakfast represented excellent value for money. The hotel’s location right next to the harbour was ideal. Local parking was very close to the hotel. I would happily stay here again.

Location, facilities, staff. There was an internal noise problem one evening, but I was offered alternative accommodation which worked well.
