Room staff area restaurant

Staff turned up almost immediately after I complained about the sofa bed not made for the kids. Sunday Roast was good.

Reception is in the restaurant and staff were not very attentive in the restaurant. I was literally abandoned until I walked up to the bar to ask how orders are being taken.

Great location for us as close to family and whiteley shops

Breakfast could have been a little better but as we stayed christmas week perhaps short staffed in kitchen

Breakfast was good, I only tried Veg English brakfast. Room was big including a giant bathroom and it was clean.

The bed was not comfortable. It was two single bed beside eachother not a double or twin bed.

Very spacious, big car park, easy to get to

Modern, uncluttered & everything worked. Basic but it met my needs. Quiet & I slept well.

Breakfast wasn’t great (scrambled eggs were dry and cold) but there was plenty of it and a range of options.

Nice rooms with most everything you need.

The breakfast took a long time and it started to make me late so I ended up having to rush what I could and leave the rest.

Breakfast in the adjoining pub was underwhelming. Weak coffee and a lukewarm full English. If we stayed again we'd go to one of the many restaurants in the nearby retail park.

Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was great.

Really well Equipped and well appointed rooms. Quiet despite busyness of the venue. Very good food (the trout pâté in particular)

Room was spacious,very clean, quiet and the bed extremely comfortable. Even the shower was easy to use! Breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly.

There’s nothing we didn’t like. It was perfect!

Nothing to be fair

Not very much at all. The corridors were lined with rubbish, empty drinks bottles, dirty glasses, dirty plates etc. The carpets were absolutely filthy and sticky. The rooms were not much better and one of our rooms did not even have pillows. The pub had said no need to book on the phone then told us I. Arrival that we should just turn up and hope for a table! For an 80th birthday party! We went to the hotel and eventually found a seat in the bar. Ordered across two orders and only one went through the kitchen so only half managed to eat the manager could not even be bothered to come to the table but instead shouted over the barrier from behind me that it's not his problem to deal with go to the bar to sort it out! £280 of COLD food later we went back to our filthy rooms.

On arrival the landlady/host stunk of alcohol and was clearly inebriated.On entering the hotel the whole place stank of marijuana.On entering our rooms there was no heating, one thin blanket on the bed, windows didn't close properly, mould on the walls and ceiling, dirt and what looked like blood on the wall and skirting, toilet seat was broken. To top it all my window looked onto the platform of the train station.Unfortunately for us we arrived to late to move so had to reluctantly spend the night but checked out first thing and didn't stay the second night.I use Booking.Com a lot and expected more from you. This was the worst place i have booked with you. I seriously recommend you do some in house checks at this property.Yours Very DisgruntledPete Grice

Everything !!!!!

Very comfortable and cosy, appreciated the decor. Fabulous room service pizza from The Parsons Collar.Appreciated the ease of parking.

We didn't stay for breakfast due to the cost. We only required cereal and coffee and £30 per morning for my son and I was significantly too much.It is a shame that use of the pool was not affordable, we only wanted a swim and there was not an option only to pay for that.

The room was comfy and clean, breakfast good and quickly served.

The carpet in the corridor needs replacing.

Stopped over for 1 night for work and what a lovely place. Great spacious room and the restaurant food was lovely! I might be thebonly one who feels a plonker for checking in at a busy bar, but once over that the stay was great.

The bed was comfy, the shower is huge, powerful and hot. I liked that there is a good sized ironing board and a hair dryer provided. The room is modern and was spotlessly clean.

Twin beds making a king was so much better than previous stay in a standard double.

Carpets are in need of a good clean / replacement
