Excellent breakfast every day so we asked for supper in the evenings. Would highly recommend the evening meals as such a variety.
Believe the reviews. Great value. Hotel, Pub, Restaurant all in one place on large property, an oasis reasonably priced.
Location ,room although warm !
Lasagna was pants!
Beds were super comfy and room was very spacious
Toilet flush button was very loose WiFi box light was constantly flashing on ceiling which in darkness at night when trying to sleep is very disturbing Dog in room below kept barking when it hears any noise even waking me up at 4am Bathroom was too small Couldn’t open bedroom window compared to other rooms as it’s just a flat panel glass.
Nice bathroom and shower, clean beedimg and large bed
Room decoration could do with an update. Walls were dirty in places , radiator paintwork was chipped and need a touch up
It was a place to stay for one night. Lovely room . Big white fluffy towels. Comfortable beds.
Lovely comfortable room, very nice bar area and restaurant.
Full English breakfast was like warm.
All the staff were very nice and professional. The bed was comfortable , the breakfast menu had a lot of choice and was cooked to perfection.
Friendly, clean and comfortable. Second visit. Great value for money. Good to see the pub and restaurant busy as well
Staff were very courteous and Food was very tasty it was also excellent value for money would definitely go back if in the area
There was a Scottish lady on reception who was excellent it trying to resolve our issues. The bathrooms were good.
There was a strong smell of disinfectant in the room, clearly used to mask a lingering dog odor—but it was overpowering and never dissipated. As a result, we had to move from a double to a twin room, which was not what we originally booked.A second sofa bed had been set up, but it was clearly broken and completely unusable—no one could have slept on it.The whole place is badly in need of renovation. Patches on walls, stained carpets, loose fitting etc.At £189 for the night—Easter or not—this is overpriced at best. We were there for a family event and had no choice but to stay, but honestly, anywhere else would have been better value.

Clean good location
No bath
Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and had excellent water pressure. The only thing missing was a few biscuits to go with the tea & coffee lol :) overall a superb stay
Can't think of anything we didn't like, we will definitely be back again
Breakfast and main meal was very good. Room was clean and well decorated.
Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were incredible they changed the bet to sofa bed to accommodate when my mum couldn't get in the bed. Breakfast was amazing. All staff were friendly and welcoming.
Bed was extremely high and my elderly mother could not get in it. The ramps to the bedrooms were very steep and struggled with the wheelchair.
I have stayed here a few times now and it's always my go to. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. Fab place to stay with children as well as a couple. Love the big beds and the family room has plenty of space for sleeping.
Was on the colder side and I had small children so didn't want to use the plug in heater provided. But as soon as I asked for another duvet problem solved.
