Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport (North Terminal) Hotel

Perfect place to sleep and eat for an extended layover. You can get your COVID testing done at the Express Test in the North Terminal and go straight to your hotel for rest, food, and drink.

It cost me an additional 10 Pounds to check in before 4 p.m. and I was unaware dinner reservations were needed to secure a table at the restaurant. Anyway, the bar was open (no cocktails re COVID restrictions). Beer, wine, and liquor were available.

Clean, Okay beds and linen. Peaceful.

No fridge, No International sockets (for charging cell phones, razors etc. considering this is an international hotel in close proximity to the airport with thousands of international guests. No free breakfast or internet. Water pressure in shower low.

The breakfast was really good

I was very disappointed in the bathroom accessories provided (body wash and shampoo are not the same thing), and I didn't get the appropriate towels. There was no extra lock on the door and the room was small and far too expensive for what I paid for.

The hotel next to the departure Gatwick airport, I don't have to hurry to take my flight schedule and walk right to the airport last minutes of my flight.

Not at all. Everything meet my expectation.

The location. Hotel is on the North Terminal. No shuttle or taxi required.

Lifts up to reception seemed sporadic and didn't respond to who pressed first. Other guests were extremely rude, pushing, etc. Automated reception where help button went ignored and check in took forever. I hope I never have to stay here again.

Very comfortable room and bed. Completely soundproof - important right next to an airport!

Automated reception area took us by surprise. There were staff there to help if needed but it is not the warmest of receptions. Also, the bath/shower did not have safety bars requiring seniors to hold on to towel bars and shower pipes.

Poor and vague signage in the terminal. Many of the staff difficult to understand as they spoke too quickly with an accent.

Convenient stop over for onward journery

Had a problem with the coridoor/room entry card on fourth floor. It didn't work and two further ones didn't either... receptionist had to use her master key to let us in at 2.30AM in the morning which was disappointing as we had to leave the hotel at 6.00

Proximity to Gatwick Airport. Cleanliness of room. Comfortable bed.

Clean, needed a better room, and got it.

The staff were skilled salesmen, and may have pushed two wearly travelers into spending too much. We will have to check to see if we were double-charged on anything.

The hotel is perfectly located for an overnight stay between flights. We enjoyed using the kettle and coffee/tea in the room before our early-morning flight.

The room was a bit small so our luggage seemed to be in the way no matter where we put it.

Everything about this hotel for a one nighter is superb. Location could not be better. Our room was spotless. Bed very comfortable.

Excellent location for departures from either of Gatwick's terminals. Rooms were much larger than what you get in London or local B&Bs.

Meal prices were quite expensive.

The location is fabulous...no shuttle required. Check-in was easy with a pleasant young woman assisting. The room was clean and well-equipped and quiet.

The dining room was packed. When I decided to order dinner and then take it to my room, I had to juggle a large tray with two plates and a wine glass. The food was not good. The chicken breast was dry, the French fries and roasted vegetables were blah.

The location is excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and quite. The bar is convenient especially nice with the courtyard.

The room did not have a safe.
