Pros +
- Big rooms
- Large comfortable room. Very nice bathroom.Excellent breakfast with a good choice of options.
- My room was exceptional. Large, and really well equipped
Cons -
- Furniture was extremely out dated. A discoloured sofa in middle of the room was weird
- The shower could have done with a shelf on which to put toiletries.
- Breakfast could have started earlier (8am is a little too late as I was working) and been a little quicker, but I understand it was a slow time as there weren’t many guests. It was brilliant when it came!

observation "not" complaint, some tired looking spots.
Nice large room comfortable bed
The room was cold in tfe afternoon and the bathroom basin had a leak which made the bathroom floor wet
Nice big rooms, good food, helpful staff
Perfectly located for my plans. Very friendly. Food (Dinner and Breakfast) very good and good value
The room was cold when I arrived and although it warmed up and I was also given an electric heater, the heating went off during the night (I had turned off the electric heater so as not to waste heat/money) so I was cold during the night
Rooms were large and comfortable. Bathrooms recently updated. Plenty of storage- very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast; also dinner was very good. Staff excellent and helpful.
Hotel feel dated in some places; however it is immaculately clean!
Lovely setting, quaint style hotel
The shower door leaks and caused a massive puddle on the floor. When looking there was black mold from the leak.
The location. Needed a stop over. The bed. The staff
The fact the water doesn't drain away very quickly. Had a shower took half an hour for water to drain away. The unkempt nature of room. Old grottyIt was cold.
Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice & nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Nice and warm, not a battle to get a warm room.Spacious room with relaxing chairs and small table.. Great shower. Good parking. Tesco Extra within yards.
It was slightly dated but we are old anyway.
The staff were lovely and the breakfast was really nice. The hotel has that old feel about it, which I really like, and in our room we had a great selections of tea, coffee and even hot chocolate. We had the family room which was a large double bed and 2 separate beds in an adjoining room that you can shut off or keep open.
Quite dated
The staff & food were great, Rooms are huge. RV chargers onside also
Quiet, warm and very comfortable
Shame they had run out of our choice on the menu.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Alittle dated, and unfortunately heating wasn’t working in our room.
Service was spot on as always. The team is always welcoming and accommodating to any requests. Always enjoy our stays at The Walnut Tree Hotel
This hotel is ideally placed for our journeys to and from Cornwall. We had a great room and there was good service. We are hoping to stay again.
I can't really think of anything.
