The Gatwick White House Hotel

The hotel was very close to the center town and the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful!

The heater wouldn?t turn off in the room so it was pretty hot through the night.

Great location, brilliant staff, good food, especially the curry I had for dinner. Amazing value for a budget hotel. I will certainly stay again. Really lovely, friendly, helpful team.

Location is great.

I booked an en suit room for one, and the guy put me in a room with one tandem bed plus other two single beds. For start, the reception had a horrendous smell of curry and specias. The room was absolutely disgusting and smelly, worst than a 0 stars hostel, the carpet floor was dirty, it seemed that never has been cleaned, the table had rest of tobacco from the previous guests as well as the bin bag was not changed, the tap water was foggy. TV was dusty and the toilet has marks of stools, bed covers were dirty with hairs and there was a big black mould in one of the corners of the room, it looked like the beds were made in a hurry. I setted the heating at maximum and there was no way to make that room warm, I think the best option was sleeping in the airport, at lest I would not wasted my money in such a disgusting place and I would not catch bedbugs either. It should not be called a tree stars hotel, it should be called a hostel so at least you know what you are going to find, for what it is and it seems they dont lay any cleaner or room attendants it is quite pricy.

Car parking was extra. Room was very small - hostel style. Breakfast wasn’t good.

Very warm and friendly staff. They arranged taxi-transfer to airport in the morning.

Sink in room cracked and leaked onto carpet.

Good value, good communication before arrival, room was clean and warm.

The bed felt a little uncomfortable and old.

At the check-in receptionist from India tried to charge me (extort) extra money for my companion where we had booking done for 2 person very cheap shot at the start. Only Indian dishes in the menu.

Amazingly good service(s) for the price! Reception team were great, checking in was smooth and quick, I got a complimentary room upgrade, the bed was super comfortable and had the best night sleep! Continental breakfast was simple and had everything- including lots of gluten free options!

Additional charge for parking but reasonable considering location.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Excellent location in proximity to the airport. Grateful for the takeaway breakfast as we were leaving so early.

After we got into bed, we realised the bedding had not been washed adequately or at all as the sheets smelled strongly of body odour. It was already very late at night and we had a 4.45am start so we couldn't reasonably be expected to have got out of bed to find a staff member to report this- especially as properly washed sheets is a basic minimum for a paid hotel stay.

This is the 3rd time staying here and I will only stay here when I come to Horley. The staff are super friendly amd welcoming. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It also looks amazing now after all the work they have done inside. Great place to stay

Good value for the money.Good location 3 bus stops from Gatwick airport.

Next to a busy road, noisy.It's ok for the overnight stay.

Good location, it was easy for us to get to the hotel. The staff was nice and helpful.

It was very cold in our apartment. The heater didn't work in the bedroom so we were cold at night. The heater in bathroom worked but towels remained wet, as we spotted at the morning. We were a little bit disappointed with the take-away breakfast (water, juice and processed bread in plastic packages from the store).

Good rooms, enough for one night stay.

Excellent arrived late in the evening, receptionist was there to let me, which was great after a long flight.

It’s a perfect stay for a night before your flight, it’s only 5 mins bus ride from the airport and you don’t have to spend 20£ on a taxi as the bus stop is very close. The breakfast buffet was nice, nothing else needed before the flight.

Overall it wasn’t very clean, the furniture was visibly used and had some stains, but as for a budget stay near the airport it’s fine.

Staff were very helpful.I read a lot of.mixed reviews about this place but I thought I'd give it a go.I heard a lot of good reviews about their Indian cuisine so it was a bonus.Unfortunately for me, the kitchen was going to be closed by the time I reached the hotel.But staff worked with the kitchen to have the food prepared before they closed so it would be ready for my arrival.Needless to say, I sat down at 22:40 to an amazing Chicken Tikka Masala with a Garlic Naan.Supper was 10 out of 10.As for the rooms, tea & coffee, bottled water, towels and fresh bedding.Rooms were clean, bedding was immaculate and the bathroom was clean and tidy, as you'd expect.So needless to say, I didn't see any evidence of the bad reviews I'd read. Food was great , the place was clean and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate what ever I asked for.

There wasn't anything to dislike, it was a budget room not a 5 star hotel. Yet it had everything I needed.The water pressure in the shower was a little low for my preference, but certainly wasn't an issue, certainly wasn't a trickle, did what it needed to do.Water temperature was at a nice comfortable level

Quite near A23 so some traffic noise throughout the night but it wasn't too bad
