Only stayed one night. The bathroom was spotless and so was the room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They told us that they couldn’t make any food that night as they were busy with a wedding. We went and found a curry house up the road which was great. This is a very old building and as such everything feels on a tilt which is to be expected. All in all a very pleasant experience.
the falcon hotel has bags of character and a lovely setting, food was excellent and staff was very professional and tentative but not overpowering nice warm room both bedroom and bathroom
the bed mattress needs an upgrade, shower riser did come apart several times while showering
Lovely old building full of character. Great location, fab food and drink choices and great staff!
The bed could do with a new mattress it was very creaky and uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else was great so that was a shame but can be easily fixed so wouldn’t stop me going back I’d just ask for another room or check it’s been changed.
Breakfast was lovely. Nice welcome
Uneven floors in room, but it's an old building character I suppose.
Excellent food and accommodation in a truly unique, historic setting.
The radiator in the bathroom was not working and could not be fixed during our short stay.
Location in the centre of BromyardFood was of a very good.
Room was slightly dusty eh g beams. Carpet didn't appear to have been cleaned in the room.
The charm of the Falcon is that it’s a very old building in the heart of Bromyard. Our room was quirky, with very uneven floors, but it was very clean, with a lot of nice touches and attention to detail.Every contact with the staff was faultless. They were helpful, efficient and hard working. A large Christmas party was happening in an adjacent room, but apart from the bar being crowded when they all arrived, we were hardly aware of them and were well looked after.I’m usually very reluctant to eat dinner is hotel restaurants - too many poor experiences. Due to other restaurants in town being fully booked in the run up to Christmas, we decided to eat in and it turned out to be excellent. Good ingredients, cooked just right, great service and sensibly priced. Nice selection of beers and cider in the bar too.We look forward to having another opportunity to stay again and will definitely dine in the restaurant.
The car park was pretty full in the afternoon, even though there seemed to be few guests at that time. The bed ( room 4 ) could do with a replacement mattress. The springs made it feel rather uncomfortable at first, but we eventually slept well.
Very interesting building. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good was excellent.
Room was a little cramped.
Ancient hotel with uneven floors, odd stairways and landings and old style furniture and beds, but with so much character. Would definately stay there again.
The quality of the food was exceptional and the level of service was very high. Also the bar area was very comfortable and the locals were very welcoming.I will now be visiting the area on a regular basis and this is the hotel I will be using.
Some of the stairs were very tight and the building did creak but with the age of the building this was to be expected.
We stayed at the Falcon Hotel as we were at a wedding nearby, the staff were all very polite and helpful, there is ample parking and it was warm with clean bedding and plenty of towels, it did the job nicely
The hotel itself is over 500 years old and has bags of character, does what it says on the tin
Olde worlde building, with uneven floors and creaking board. A good restaurant with good food. Good attentive staff.
Small bathroom and shower, but adequate.
The hotel was quaint, the breakfast very good and varied
The room was small, and the floor sloped , so poor sleep as husband kept rolling over onto me, waking us each time, also pillows very uncomfortable
Staff were lovely, food was fine for price. Rooms were quirky and comfortable
Shower was slightly pathetic but useable,
Breakfast really nice and check in and out great. Staff were very helpful.
Room was very small and for me badly furnished. I know it's an old building and took that into account but the building is generally run down. Yes old adds character I get that but this building needs work.
Everything staff, evening meal, breakfast and choice of ales.
No lift. unfortunately I have arthritis so struggled up the stairs and with it being an old building the flooring was up and down.
Historic place and so welcoming. Very reasonable pricing and memorably good food.
