The black pudding was over cooked and this being my favourite part of the breakfast it was not good as it was very hard

Ideal location to British base camp car park. The breakfast is plenty full and cooked from fresh and you can choose from a menu. Staff are helpful and friendly.

The room I had I could hear an extractor fan not sure where it was coming from.

Great breakfast, lots of choice. Room OK loved the wall paintings. Bed very comfortable. Pan-fried seabass lovely and service excellant. Great tea coffee facilities and appreciated the bottled water and biscuits and the bathroom products were a nice addition as well.

Room was very hot even with windows open. The traffic was surprisingly noisey considering the location. Bathroom was in need of refurbishment. Would have preferred a choice of vegetables with my seabass. Far too much gnocchi and would have been better with saute or chipped potatoes.. Location was very difficult to find; took me more than 2 hours, more specific directions when booking would have been useful.

Beautiful old building. Very dog friendly. Boot wash outside. Beer garden. Good walks from the hotel. Huge, comfortable traditionally decorated beautiful. Good size bathroom with good lighting. Lovely gluten free evening meal and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

There are a few cracks in tiles etc but they add to the charm of an old building.

Lovely rooms, with comfy beds. Good sized rooms with coffee making facilities. Breakfast staff were lovely. Responsibility clean. Has its own car park.

Very dark colour choice for the wall paint, with minimal lighting the room was so dark and felt inclosed.

Lovely place to stay i booked at the last minute and it was very comfortable .Breakfast was excellent staff very friendly. I would stay again

Slept well, car parking, close to railway station

Staff tried hard but, especially in the evenings, seemed overworked, so food service very slow Some aspects didn’t seem to be like the website, eg more like a smart pub than a luxury hotel with fine dining

V friendly to us and dog

    Wine knowledge

    7JillPosted on: 4-17-2025

The picture is misleading about the location. The tv in bedroom had no Ariel and several light bulbs didn’t work.

    7PaulaPosted on: 4-15-2025

It was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly, the property had great character nested in a charming little village..I have no real dislikes only the room could have been warmer but there was electric heaters supplied…

    9BarbaraPosted on: 4-2-2025

Lovely rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good food, nice bar, very dog friendly, good position in a village with easy access to Malvern hills and surrounding towns.

    7AshleighPosted on: 3-29-2025

The hotel is an interesting arts and crafts building well kept and very clean. The evening menu was very bog standard with nothing inspiring but when our fish and chips arrived it was good. The breakfast menu was much more creative and the breakfast itself was excellent.

    10Gina-mariePosted on: 3-29-2025

Stunning location, extremely friendly team, great night sleep, lots of parking, very quiet on an evening, amazing gluten free food available for room service, would definitely come again!

    9JanicePosted on: 3-28-2025

Good choice of cooked options as well as wide selection of fruit and cereals

Dinner menu wasn't very inspiring; perhaps have a couple of specials every day.

    10DavidPosted on: 3-28-2025

For the money it was excellent . Lovely welcome and I left early they did me a breakfast bag full of goodies

    8AndrewPosted on: 3-27-2025

Location great for walkers. Staff were professional and friendly making our group feel very welcome. Food and drink in the bar were also good and a special mention to the young chaps behind the bar.
