About
This beautiful gothic Victorian hotel was built in 1851, retaining its original charm and character with the added luxury of modern amenities. Free parking is available on site. The Cotford Hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Malvern Town Center, the theater, cinema and hills, but is set away from the road in its own award-winning, mature gardens. All of the bedrooms are en suite and nonsmoking and feature many facilities. The 2 AA rosette winning restaurant L'amuse Bouche offers French-style cusine, made using local produce. Guests can also relax with a hot drink in the lounge area. The restaurant is closed on a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evening. Pre booking is essential for the other nights.

- Staff. People who worked there were brilliant, very helpful nd personable too.
- Sitting in the lounge with pre-supper drinks then late night drinks in front of the fire was very good. Also quiet and private. A good recommendation for a local pub was given by the staff (see below).
- Very friendly staff, stylish decor, close to center.
Cons -
- We were told afterwards that they did 'deals' where, if you had dinner each evening they would offer a reduction. We had dinner each evening but because we didn't pre book we didn't get the offer, which seemed pedantic, as we did spend the money each day.
- The restaurant is shut on Weds in January but the website didn't say so.My room on the top floor didn't have any half-way nice views - just rooves and windows. The single Garden View one I had before was much nicer. I was 'upgraded' to that double, apparently.
- Small TV. Room a little cold.

Convenience to Malvern, easy parking. Warm and comfortable with a delicious breakfast.
Elegant building. Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. Lovely views. Great location. Comfy room.
Small TV. Room a little cold.
Unfortunately for myself only. I could not sleep on the bed. I slept in the two chairs
Softer bed for myself.
Particularly warm & friendly welcome from owner. Easy, secure parking, which is always a bonus. Comfortable & quiet room in a beautiful, homely setting. Delicious dinner & charming staff. The attention to detail both with the accommodation & cooking stand out in this hotel. Little touches matter! The location is perfect for visiting picturesque Malvern & even for venturing up the hills above the town.
Nothing!
Friendly staff and a beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed. Would highly recommend for its central location.
A lovely welcoming property, the owners Barbara and Chris clearly are committed to creating a fabulous guest experience. Unbelievably clean and so cosy!
All the staff were so helpful and friendly. My room was comfortable and I loved the little extra touches such as the Make up flannel!
Nothing. It was perfect.
Clean Very pleasant staff Great location Great breakfast
Really nice place to stay for our overnight break. Very warm welcome upon arrival, friendly staff and they made our dog feel very welcome. The food for eveing meal was first class as was the breakfast.
Nothing, everything was great.
I think the location, was outstanding also the Gardens ' were kept to a high standard, Very large garden areas, at night ' a bit spooky and Creepy to walk around, but Hey I wasn't that least bit scared ' would probably stay there again, Mike.
A short stay with family. The venue is lovely, the team and service are all excellent. The room was nicely appointed and the restaurant was superb.
A family run hotel with excellent standards. The location was great for walking to the sights of Malvern.
Beautiful setting, high standards and excellent cuisine.
The building was absolutely divine and conveniently located in the town centre. I follow the keto diet so was delighted to enjoy a cheese and mushroom omelette for breakfast with grilled tomatoes on the side. I slept really well with no noise or disturbance from other guests. The staff were highly professional, warm, friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel.
I was happy with everything regarding my stay at this hotel.
The evening meal was very good.Certainly worth it's awards and highly recommended. The staff are so friendly and helpful.
Minor criticism.Coffee at breakfast could be better.
Breakfast was excellent, served by very friendly staff. All the staff I met were friendly and engaging. The room was comfortable and warm and the bed was comfortable.
Nothing could have been done better!
Booked at last minute without checking too much on facilities. Upon arrival learnt about their award winning L'amuse-Bouche restaurant which was an added bonus to our stay and first visit to Malvern
Great location, comfortable room, very friendly staff, sufficient spaces for parking, so could not fault.
The room was beautiful, spacious, with a great view, I didn't eat breakfast. The food was cooked superbly.
