Pros +
- It’s beautiful and in the heart of the town. There were lovely views of the priory church. Breakfast was excellent, staff friendly and our room was clean.
- Breakfast and room were fine, location is excellent, accessibility with car to front clashed with a coach on both occasions but not a great problem.
- What’s not to like…the beautiful building, the location and all of the staff are so polite, from the front desk in checking in to all the staff serving the beautiful food in the restaurant ,please don’t hesitate to book and stay at the Abbey
Cons -
- 10 emails and 2 text messages before arrival is over the top! It says pay on arrival but they really wanted a pre payment but didn't stay so.
- Some rooms looked tired and the bedroom needed better cleaning. A lot of dust on surfaces. Bathroom very dated.
- I didn't like having to converse with a 3rd party with any of my requests (accessable room, table bookings etc) prior to acheiving my aim. It would have been easier and better for customers to liaise directly with the hotel.

Great location, spacious, good storage space in bedroom, friendly and helpful staff, free parking.
Some rooms looked tired and the bedroom needed better cleaning. A lot of dust on surfaces. Bathroom very dated.
I asked for an accessable room for my parents which they had and loved. The room was very spacious and clean. I also asked for 3 other rooms to be close together for other members of my family which also happened.

Location was excellent, ideally placed for the town centre, Malvern Hills and theatre. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Buffet breakfast was only luke warm or cold for the first two mornings which was disappointing.
The room and bathroom was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Location was great and reception ladies were lovely.
Didn't like the bar man blowing his nose and wiping the sweat off his head with a paper towel and then serving people their drinks without washing his hands.
Excellent choice for breakfast.Hotel location great for local walks and the town
Liked everything
Great building, nicely furnished
Couldn't turn radiator in bedroom down/off
Crowded at breakfast time but well staffed and very well organised

Location
Room too warm, bed too hard, breakfast was cold and poor quality
Breakfast was excellent and the room was very comfortable . The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was excellent and the service was quick.
Considering we had a king size bed, it made the room cramped.Area around the sink was especially cramped.
Charming and a great location. Free parking was good. The staff were lovely.
It’s a little bit dated in places - the lounge and bar area.
Lovely central location with great walks on the doorstep. Large bedroom and bathroom.Good selection of food at breakfast.Friendly staff.
The flush on the toilet in the room was not great. There was no replenishment of water or toilet roll after housekeeping had been in the room, and used glasses were not cleaned.
Room was comfy, warm and clean
The bathroom had a terrible smell of the drains, water in basin was slow to drain away
Location
Temperature control of the shower was difficult.Breakfast was so so.
Very friendly staff and closeness to the theatre
Clean the rust off the shower curtain and mould on some of the tilesTes should be from a teapot not a teabag squashed in a cup
We liked the authenticity of the place. It was also great to be offered an upgrade for £10… the first time in years I’ve been able to get a deal like this (upgraded to the club family room)
It’s a little dated. The telephone reminded me of the 80’s! The breakfast Experience - staff were great, the sausages looked like Richmond
Location excellent parking and staff
Dirty restaurant Table sticky, windows and woodwork build up of dirtCafeteria serve yourself food , coffee machines were substandard and toast machine was not big enough gor amount of guests , the food was not contemptary in its offering eg bread and breakfast food similar to school canteen not worthy of the room price snd status of hotel
