Cons -
- Unfortunately it wasn’t the staff, food or facilities that slightly let down our stay but some of the other guests!Very entitled, miserable and just downright rude especially to the staff.
- Lift was still broken and that's was six months ago we last visited BUT our large case was carried all the way up for us - thank you
- Too spa led and didn't advertise this, the hotel is an add on the spa is more like a sports centre, busy with locals, restaurant and bar are in the same area as the treatment room. Very uncomfortable if not going for spa day but wanting the option.

Breakfast was a little slow coming out and the muffins were a little tough and the coffee was awful
Nicer coffee, lighting in the bedroom wasn’t make up friendly , the Vietnamese Waitress in the restaurant for the evening meal was really good, the shin of beef was too salty and needed some green veg. Pool staff were fab and pool was lovely. Check in was a little long winded and we got there for 12 to enjoy facilities before check in at 3 and there was a point where they told us we weren’t able to use the facilities until after 3, which wouldn’t have been good, managed to persuade them to let us in which was a little daft
The spa facilities, the food and professionalism of all the staff was at a high level. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. Car parking facility was great too.
My husband and I found the bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable causing us both to have a very poor sleep and bad backs. This was such a shame as every other aspect of the stay was perfect.
Spa but very dirty not kept to a high standard
Breakfast not good. Porridge served up not cooked Very greasy cooked breakfast
Loved the pool and the spa reception.Staff were all amazing too, especially Michelle who went above and beyond and was so happy and friendly
Could do with a bit of TLC in the pool area
This spa was elegant and beautiful. The breakfast was next level with so many options that could be tailored to each customer with amazing presentation. The stand out part of this experience however, was the staff. Exceptional service and attention to detail; the team were wonderfully considerate and ensured that my accessibility needs were fully supported throughout my stay. A special mention to Ollie is needed for his bubbly personality and warm inviting character as Front of House. The treatments me and my partner both had were superb and well priced (Amy E. did an amazing job). Finally, the main pool, saunas, gym and sun beds were all to an excellent quality and really made this an incredible experience. The gym was so well equipped with everything you would need and more (better than most gyms nowadays). We both could not sing the praises high enough of this hotel.
To make this a 10/10 experience, there is a few things that could be easily rectified. The TV in the room was very old and outdated so an updated one is essential, otherwise it’s pointless having it in the room. There also is very little plugs in the room which are in awkward places so extension cords are needed. Finally, the dress code should be addressed in the main restaurant. Well we understand it’s a spa and people wear their ropes while eating, we think footwear needs to be worn for hygiene purposes. We experienced a guest eating breakfast on the last day with no shoes and was barefoot. Apart from this though, this was it. This was us being nit picky to help improve the customer experience.
The staff Were friendly helpful My wife Jayne had a wonderful birthday well and truly spoilt The restaurant staff provided excellent service The food was perfectly cooked well presented , The Spa area pool was very relaxing, Jayne enjoyed her massage treatment felt very relaxed Thank you All
The morning Didnt have enough time to enjoy the spa area. As after breakfast had to get ready to leave As i had to be at the Hospital in time for my Radiotherapy Next Time we will have time to enjoy the spa area Have breakfast Thank you All
The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful Breakfast was plentiful, well cooked and lots of choice
I was expecting luxury rooms but found the bed hard and quite uncomfortable. It also had a broken leg. The furniture was tired. I’d expected a decent coffee and there was a cafetière in room but only one sachet each of instant coffee and we had to ask for some the next day as wasn’t replenished. We struggled to find pool loungers in the afternoon and one of the saunas was cold I was expecting a view but had not realised it’s on a retail park and we overlooked ALDI car park
Nice room, lovely food and drinks at good prices , friendly reception team, great spa
Just the location
We were a group of friends celebrating a 60th birthday, we had a fab weekend, the rooms/facilities and staff were all brilliant, couldn't fault it. The garden pod made the weekend for us!
The coffees delivered to our pod were cold, that was our only problem, so hardly a deal breaker! Also would have loved it if there were some trees behind the garden pods to make it feel a bit more rural!
The hotel was nice, room was comfortable.
It was on a very busy main road - traffic noise was an issue.
On site Spa & restaurant
Not enough sunbeds outside by the pool It was beautiful weather and there was a grass area where there could have been more as didn’t want to be inside
The spa facilities and helpful day manager.
Tired room, bit tatty in parts. The dinner and breakfast were poor and not well prepared. Fried and poached eggs were solid instead of what they should have been which is a runny yolk.
Breakfast was fine room all good
More of a Spa than a hotel dont need it cant abide people in a state of un-dress in a restraunt
Lovely place to stay for a trip to Malvern.
Location isn't great as on a trading estate and need to drive to get to town or begin walks in the hills.
Loved the look of the hotel, beautiful reception and friendly staff. the Spa facilities were lovely and very relaxing, and great service for drinks. Breakfast weas great choice and delicious. Rooms were nice, clean and well presented. Very comfy beds and nice drink making facilities.
The room above us contained what i assume was an army battalion practicing drills for 2 days straight as the banging and thumping did not cease. We were kept awake both nights with noise form around 4pm - midnight and from 6am with constant noise from above. Not sure f better flooring is needed but it was ridiculous., Complained to reception but didn't really get any response other than a shrug and that they would look at the layout of the room!! Also for some reason both on return to the room the first day both robes which had bene hanging on the back of the bathroom door, and flip flops had been taken from mine and my parents rooms, which was a bit silly as we were staying for 2 nights and wanted to use the spa! So we had to call to get new sets to be able to use the facilities.
Convenient proximity for the showground. The Swan Inn nearby is a fabulous old English pub with great food.
Desperately needs renovating. Overpriced. Location is in an industrial park and next to a busy road. Spa is overcrowded and also needs renovating. Restaurant shares entrance to the spa. Eating breakfast with middle aged men in bathrobes just puts you off your meal. Premier inn is next door and probably cheaper and cleaner.
Clean and spacious
Bathrobes and towels for the spa being removed from room, happened on last stay. Had to contact reception again to delivery more
