Our room was at the top of the stairs number 6 Family room it faced onto the back of the building, so no view at all which didn’t bother usBut the badly applied frosted window film could do with replacingThe ceiling paper starting to hang down (must be a damp/leek from the roof)The room although clean looked tiredBathroom was very shoddy no tiles only plastic sheets again badly fittedBreak

The hotel was beautiful. Staff very welcoming.

Chipped milk jug. Not only that it was passed to us on arrival for breakfast from another table,which had already hotel guests using it before. Not much choice on the continental table,BUT breakfast was perfect! Quality food.Our room 6 was spacious,but the ceiling light was dusty full of cob webs. The bathroom walls were stained,and cracks on the flooring. Picture not hung straight,lob sided. Kettle needed descaling.

It was very central for walks and access to the tow.

I don’t think it had lifts? If it did I didn’t see. We were on the top floor with a heavy case. Need a bath mat we used our small towel and perhaps some water in the room too would be good.

Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient for most of the town.

Very jood location, close to Priory, theatre and shops. Comfortable room and attractive restaurant. A decent dinner.

A lot of stairs, no lift. Could not operate TV. At breakfast, we had to ask for basics - butter and marmalade.

The cooked breakfast was disappointing, it had obviously been cooked sometime beforehand and just kept warm so was lacking any freshness .

Location is great. Reasonable choice for breakfast.

Car parking is not guaranteed for hotel guests, especially since staff also use the car parking so you are forced to park on the busy street (where the other cars were half parked on the pavement to avoid getting their wing mirrors clipped). Property was tired. Cracked sink in en-suite, cracked glass in window, shower was pitiful, and the moldy grout needed replacing.
