Very good breakfastFantastic fish and chips! Though the chips were OK the fish maybe the best you can get in Redditch, far better than a chippy.

Good location and plenty of parking space

Breakfast was poor. Tasted like it was overcooked. Fired Eggs and sausages were like rubber, hash browns were brittle!

Breakfast was good being buffet style, with a large amount of choices. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to enjoy the lovely outside setting that the hotel is set in. The bed room was clean and had all the toilet products needed. Staff was very polite & helpful, thank you.

Not much we didn't like really, apart from breakfast was a little on the expensive side, but that's being a little picky, as we said we would stay there again, without hesitation.very

House and gardens are lovely, rooms are unique and have character. The staff were lovely, and tried their best to help when things didn’t quite go to plan.

It’s dated and in need of a refurb. Keys for door locks and my room didn’t seem to lock properly. Significant lack of hot water in the rooms for showers etc. Ordered room service two nights in a hotel own on the app they make you download, only for the order to not arrive.

The food and dining room was spot.

The room was freezing. I had an oil heater for the room. There was barely any hot water. Single glazed window with a right breeze. Guests noisy, and when I contacted reception to complain nobody picked up for ages. Then I was called mate, and told I’m not normally on reception, brilliant mate.

Location suited my needs and free parking

Room was FILTHY!! Like it’s bad!!! Bed had hairs, shower was not cleaned and the room had not been hoovered in quite some time. I was also shocked by how half the lights didnt work at all.I felt like I was in some sort of medical unit for the unwell. Pictures look absolutely NOTHING like the advert.. very very misleading.Reception staff were basic and could crack a smile if I paid them…. Oh wait!!Yes, no intention to revisit anytime soon…

Shower was not at all powerful but was typical of many hotels these daysPlace is a bit tired and requires refurbishment in some areas.

Carpets and rooms really smelly. As wee the hall ways. A little rundown

Very welcoming staff, from the cleaners to the front of house. Stayed here for two nights while away for a family occasion. Excellent value for money, breakfast was definitely worth it!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Our requests for rooms close to reception were granted fir us and a companion. So thank you.

We used the hot tub. It was OK but really needs to be more connected to Spa Reception. It was cold and damp and outside with nowhere to put shoes or robes under cover. Only cold damp paving underfoot. Our bathroom facilities were lovely, a big bath and walk in shower, but nowhere to hang towels or robes.Finally, we were in the original old building, so single glazed windows which got very wet overnight.

2 night stay in a standard double, room was cosy, clean & bed comfortable. We had a bottle of Rose in the bar & the bottomless brunch, both really nice. Friendly staff throughout the team. Have stayed before, would stay again & recommend. Location was great for our needs!

Overall it was a good experience, due to the efforts of the reception team.

Arriving and not having the correct type of room allocated. We had booked a double for three people and expected 1 DBL + 1 single. We only had a DBL. Not the best for me my wife and 22 year old daughter.We did get moved to a triple (3 singles) not ideal but they did their best.Did not appear that the hotel was full so not sure why we could get what be booked - maybe because we had a Booking.com deal?

The bed was a small double and for two adults was quite small. Also smoking alarm let off a green flash every few minutes which disturbed our sleep (perhaps face it away from the bed). Curtains didn't quite fit so recommend bringing a sleep mask
