Cons -
- Food was ok. Not brilliant.
- The bathroom door didn't close properly but it didn’t bother us. There were no towels in the room but this was quickly remedied after a visit to reception.
- Poor sound insolation between floors. We had very noisy guests above us.

Poor sound insolation between floors. We had very noisy guests above us.
Good set up, parking, comfortable room and breakfast.
No heating or fan in bathroom, freezing!
Location to work
Bath waste was an issue. Shower filled the bath even with no plug
evening meal was lovely staff very helpful when we arrived early for our table they were very accommodating
nothing all good
Price, location, cleanliness, room, comfort. A great bed and pillows. Nice shower.Room 12 was great. Room 101 not so great.
Room 101 opposite the main stairs door, I heard other guests coming and going. Room 101 is above the reception exterior door, I heard other guests coming and going. Also at 01:30 am a couple decided to smoke and chat outside the reception door just below my room. I had to let them know I wasn't happy that they disturbed my sleep. The window latch was broken which didn't help since the window wouldn't shut properly and therefore shut some of their noise. Also the TV remote was missing its battery cover and stopped working in the evening. Next morning there was no one in the reception area to exchange the remote control.
First class! Brilliant little find and will definitely be coming back, the room was great and staff where fabulous and food on point! Great spot!
Great value for money! Staff were very helpful especially the manager and bar staff.
Good price and convenient for M42 , bar was open till 11 , some similar places I have stayed in, were all locked up at 10pm on a Friday!
It's not a criticism but be aware its over 2 miles out of Redditch and is positioned to be near the motorway not the town
all good
just a little gripe about the restaurant bar- Stayed on a Tuesday, looked for a table to eat at and all had "reserved for super quiz" signs on them. I eventually found a table without one and went to order. I was told that table was also reserved. The staff sorted me out a draughty table in the conservatory bit. I felt very cold and isolated. Just a small gripe, but it made me unusually angry lol. Not like me at all lol
Staff were very polite. Good location easy to find.
Quality of room needs minor upgrading.
Lovely little hotel , rooms were clean !Staff were very helpful and nice Breakfast was really good Excellent value for money
staff were really helpfuldisabled facilities good and rooms close to entrance and blue badge parking
Room was clean, good location, reasonable check in time and checkout time.mostly Friendly staff. Clean communal areas. Breakfast was good
The bathroom was very dated, bath and wall tiles stained bathroom was very cold, there were cobwebs in the room. The tv remote had no back to it. Constant sound of doors slamming even in the early hours of the morning 2 and 3am.Staff were friendly except one rather rude man.
Your staff were exceptional, especially Sarah and Maddy who went out of their way to be helpful with our party of 6
No areas - no issues
Excellent location just a few minutes drive from M42 but in a quiet location.Plenty of parking. We had room 107 and it was excellent value for the price we paid.
Room clean but cold
No receptionist in check out
It was very convenient for us in respect of location and very reasonably priced
There were a number of issues. We stayed overnight on Christmas Day after visiting family. We were told on the day that we needed to check in before 5pm as there would be no one on site after that. Whilst I fully respect the decision to let the staff have the night off, to be told on the day was incredibly poor. When we arrived, the room was freezing and the heating control did not work. We tried everything, but no joy. We tried the emergency number but no response. We slept fully clothed in a freezing cold room with no alternative.I don’t like to give negative reviews, but I tried to contact the hotel twice post our stay but have had no response.I’m sure any other time, the place would be perfectly decent, but we won’t be staying again and I can only provide honest, factual feedback.
Lovely setting. Friendly staff.
Our room was at the end of a corridor and grew colder overnight. Could not figure out how to raise temperature. There was no hot chocolate available in the room or in the hot drink machine in the restaurant.
The food is decent and a great pub quiz on a Tuesday. Close to the NEC so really convenient. For the price if booked in advance great value.
