Good breakfast, friendly staff and good location.

The light above the headboard and the desk lamp did not work. The double bed was too narrow for us (we are average size), we had expected at least a large double for comfort at the price of the hotel. We also had a sofa bed in our room (which we hadn't requested) so saw that as a bonus as one of use could sleep on it however when I went to pull it out it was very dirty so we could not use it. There was construction work in the car park, we were not given any warning about the noise that started at 8am (car park being smashed up, it was VERY LOUD), we would have appreciated being given the opportunity to know about the noise and a room facing away from the car park as we did not need to get up as early as 8am.

Good location very close to train station. Straightforward check in process. Breakfast included in room price. Comfortable and quiet room.

The room was nice and big bed

The receptionist not approachable they dont smile or say hello when you come to the desk.. The pillows are so thin

The food was shocking.Ordered fish and chips,fish was overcooked in a fryer and was impossible to eat as rock hard.My partner ordered ham and cheese toastie and after waiting half an hour we were told they had no ham to make a toastie. The female cooking the food wasn't a chef and she was serving behind the bar and serving/cooking the food with no hair net on or a chefs uniform and her form was stained and needed a wash.I returned the food and a refund was given and we had to go to a local McDonald's to get room tea.At Breakfast,bacon,sausage was over cooked and the hash browns were soaked in oil and not very edible.Female collecting plates and assisting customers was constantly scratching her hair around the self service food area and her uniform was untidy and need washing.

Breakfast was a bum fight run out of a lot of items and the back of house staff were very rude all most throwing us out of buffet areas so they could close and go home

Works were going on and the exit was blocked with no signs to support going against incoming 1 way traffic. Breakfast was a little disappointing, All 4 options of Jam were out of stock, No fried egg option. Orange juice was out of stock and cutlery tray was dirty with hairs (not what you want to see)

Just great all.round .Staff are very friendly and polite.Great English Breakfast always great to start your day.

Would like hot chocolate sachets in room as I don't like tea or coffee .

Tea and coffee in room, but we bring our own so not an issue.Poor lighting for doing makeup/hair. no plug by mirror or mirror by plugs to sit and do hair

Loved the comfy bed and the herbal toiletries. The room and ensuite bathroom felt modern and clean, even though spots on the carpet could do with treatment. The hot breakfast was worth it, and vegan sausages were freshly made for me when I requested them.

Food in the on-site restaurant was very basic for any other meal apart from breakfast. Carpets and upholstery could do with some spot treatment. The exhaust fan for the bathroom was on all night (glad I packed earplugs).

We had dinner later on the second night of staying at redditch Holiday Inn, it was just before the new year of 2026, and the young reception girl, the hotel had run out of most of its nice menu food items unfortunately for us that lady night of stay, and what we did have, was macaroni cheese and lasnge and it was rubbish, we should of asked for our money back!!!!! The macaroni cheese had been way, overcooked in a microwave and my brothers was horrible, rubbish as well!!!!Be very care eating dinner here folks OK pls!!!!The two nights we stayed we unfortunately didn't try the hotel free breakfast at all, which is very unusual for us both OK!!Hope this helps everybody in future.N. Great selection of both hot and cold food the sausages weren’t very nice and the scrambled egg was tasteless . The room was very clean with a very comfy bed and the hotel had lots of parking and extremely good value for money and right next to the railway station which was great for us wanting to travel into Birmingham to watch the strictly tour so perfect location

The hot breakfast could have been better quality

Very convenient to the town, shopping centre and train station. On the quieter side of Redditch town so easy to drive around if you need. The included breakfast selection is good.

Some of the breakfast items were dried out, the scrambled egg was almost crusty where it had been hanging around a while.

Met friends here. Staff very friendly. Hotel clean. Great they have a ice machine. Shame the menu in evening is small. But buffet breakfast was good..

Breakfast towards the end of service could be stocked. As had to ask for hash brown and cossaints. Maybe better evening menu with some meal deal if family is eating.

absolutely loved the room the bed was so comfortable, staff were so attentive had a great stay

I do not like the fact that all towels are not washed, as they rule is to place used towels on the floor. I feel they are touched by other guest, so for that reason I brought my own towel. I do think all towels should be washed as a preauction due to infections.

Several items ran out & were not replenished during the time we were at breakfast. Toaster wasn't working either
