- Staff helpful, rooms lovely
- Beautiful hotel, very comfortable room and the staff are courteous, friendly and professional. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast is very nice too with plenty of choice. Lovely atmosphere and surrounded by beautiful grounds ~ we always leave feeling refreshed and completely relaxed.
- What a fabulous hotel . The decor is exceptional. Ever where was spotlessly clean . Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back .
Cons -
- Food took a long time to arrive when restaurant was very quiet. Was unusual as not had a problem before
- Nothing to dislike.
- Only negative for us was having to pay a £50 security deposit on arrival, even though we had prepaid for the room. Not something we expected.

Fabulous breakfast, even better evening meal and welcoming, attentive staff
Stayed overnight to break our journey so was chosen for location and price. The room was discounted and very reasonable. The hotel was lovely. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The staff, were friendly and professional.

The hotel itself is set in a beautiful period property which gives it it’s charm. The bedrooms are nicely designed and clean. I particularly liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Staff were helpful.
Unfortunately the walls are paper thin between the rooms in the extension (perhaps only in interconnecting rooms) and I could hear next doors entire conversation and including their late night activities which ruined my plan for a peaceful night. I also found we had a couple of lady bugs buzzing around our room at night so had to get them out (not a major issue). Our moveable shower head did not function properly and the water flow was very weak which was a shame. The food at the bar was not of great quality and the meat looked cheap. Breakfast was better. Lastly, unfortunately our tv did not work properly so we were unable to use it during our stay.
Friendly, local staff: excellent breakfast: water provided in bedroom: quiet.
The TV! No end of trouble just trying to get standard BBC1/ITV.... a little too high tech for us older people
Facilities excellent staff friendly
Previous breakfast ordered from menu which had always been hot and really lovely as have stayed about 10 times. This breafast was buffet and really wasn't very nice.
Property is lovely undergrounds are stunning, staff are very helpful
The property was fine
Very friendly and helpful members of staff
The only thing we could fault was the egg option at Breakfast, a fried or poached egg as an alternative to scrambled would have been appreciated.Other than that we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay
After not coming to stone manor since the previous owner had this it was very personal coming back to stone manor and I would like to say Hogarth have done an amazing job after taking over from the Dunn family
Lovely warm friendly welcome from the moment we opened the door to the hotel, everyone was amazing and very polite, hotel was spotless couldn't fault anything, bar was lovely and comfortable, toilets where spotless, our room was spotless and smelt fresh, breakfast was beautiful, lovely selections and beautiful cooked breakfast, we also had the couples massage and that was amazing Lisa and I think it was poppy where so amazing so friendly we well definitely be repeating our stay we are looking to be booking again most definitely, amazing place to visit
There wasn't anything we didnt like
Service in the restaurant was exceptional
The walk to our ground floor room was too long, with steps. As I am disabled this was a big problem for me
We love the staff and just how clean the property is kept how the reception is always on trend with new promotions
You get some very rude guests whom seem to think because they have booked as a group they should have priority service and the staff at there beck and call
A nice cosy bar and good restaurant. Bed was very comfortable and fridge kindly supplied. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent.
The shower was leaking water on to the bathroom floor.
Good
parking , layout , bedroom all good
Food, bedroom, staff, surroundings all great.
Friendly check in High attention to detail and quality in restaurant
Numerous steps and winding route to room but it is an historic manor house
Lovely countryside location. Nice room. Great breakfast.
Very little.
All the staff we encountered were polite, friendly, professional and efficient. The Hotel has a nice, relaxing vibe and our room was warm and comfortable. The grounds of the Hotel are stunning, at any time of year.
Nothing to dislike.
