Cons -
- The only thing I would complain about were the pillows were very firm.
- Road parking is a bit of a problem though it is free between 6pm and 8am if you can find a space.
- The room was a bit warm, a fan was provided, but it wasn't easy to get any outside air circulation in to cool the room.

Location on beach was excellent; bar/food very good; staff extremely helpful; and the room with a view was gorgeous. Highly recommended.
Overall the room was nice, breakfast was good, the location couldn't be beat. Staff was very friendly.

It was well run, immaculate, friendly staff in a perfect location. The owner we extremely engaging and committed to insuring that we had a perfect stay.
There was nothing we did not like, apart from leaving too soon.
Great staff, professional and welcoming. Cozy rooms with everything needed and a great location. Lovely breakfast.
Our room didn’t have a great view but this is minor considering the location, ability to go to so many places and all the amenities offered.
The outstanding view of the sea and sunset. Quality of furnishings. Great staff. Amazing breakfast.
The location is unbeatable. From the first floor room we had the best view across the sea, including from the bed AND bathroom! Room and bathroom are both spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served in the cosy bar downstairs by friendly staff.
As this is a conversion, noise from rooms upstairs and next door travels extremely well and can easily disturb sleep and generally prevent enjoyment of the room. On hot days, the room can get extremely warm and windows cannot be opened easily, so it's difficult to cool down at night.
Breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, pastries, and cooked eggs and sausages if you wanted it. Very healthy and good.I had a view room over the sea, and the view was very nice, windows were not clean, but that’s not to be expected on an everyday basisThe bathroom was new and updated and very cleanThe bed was comfortable with a nice wool blanket, which I didn’t need, although the pillows were hard and uncomfortable for my tasteGood location for getting around town to go out and eat and get to and from the train station
Mine was a view room over the sea facing west and the curtains did not provide room darkening, so the room was very bright early in the morning. Also, when I arrived at the curtains were open and it was a warm day and the room was very hot with no fan or air conditioning. Only way to cool was to open the window, butUnfortunately, the hotel also has a bar in the garden, which was directly underneath my room, so it was loud with guests drinking and talking outside until late at night making it hard to sleep
We loved the hip cool vibe about the place. We had an excellent view to the ocean from our room. Loved going to sleep to the sound of the waves. There’s a great cozy little bar with outdoor views to the ocean, or sit inside which is also very sweet, cozy and nicely decorated. They have innovative cocktails on the menu. The breakfast was also very good. One of the options is eggs on toast with avocado, very yummy. We definitely recommend this friendly little hotel.
Nothing not to like
The entire stay was lovely from start to finish. The staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive. The room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The views were stunning and we fell asleep each night to the sounds of crashing surf. Solid in room coffee and tea set up, comfortable bed and chairs, immaculate room. Very romantic. Breakfasts were delicious, and the bar downstairs was delightful at the end of a long day sightseeing, hiking, or enjoying the beach. The location could not be better. This is a 10-out-of-10 gem in Aberystwyth — the best of the beach!
Zero complaints
This small hotel is in a perfect location, and everyone who works there was really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding.
There isn’t anything I didn’t like.
Lovely comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Lovely decor.
Really friendly staff and great seafront location. Ample breakfast on offer, the banana bread option was yummy!
Nothing not to like!
Breakfast was really good. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.
The bedside lights are way too bright. Need bedside lamps instead or overhead reading lamps
An excellent stay by the seaside in Aberystwyth. The property was in a great location on the prom, and just a short walk to a range of food and shopping options. The staff were lovely, and the room was very comfortably appointed (but do note, you can hear guests in other rooms). The included breakfast was delicious with a number of options, a highlight being the homemade granola (as noted by other reviewers). Very convenient to have a wine bar on the premises with small plates for nibbles (but no meals) available. I would happily recommend this property and indeed, stay again should I have the good fortune to return to Aberystwyth. Do note, however, there are (many) stairs. Not a problem if you're forewarned (as I was from reading the reviews) but good to know.
Great location on the seafront. Very nice and quiet room with a sea view. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good bathroom with bath and shower. Excellent breakfast.
There’s no car park but we found a spot on the road directly outside, where we could park overnight and for four hours from 8 am.
Lovely room with sea view, staff were friendly and the breakfast was great!
Comfortable room but quite a trek up the flights of stairs to top room on 3rd floor - not for the faint-hearted! Shame there is no longer a restaurant but cocktail was delicious and breakfast ok
