    Cons -

    • Room not as clean as it should be. Moved twin beds together to make a double, crisps and other debris under the bed, carpet very marked, needed renewal. Not enough disabled parking spaces, had to park far from entrance in the evening. No staff offered help with our cases despite us strugglung with them and our disabled son.Had wanted to book for lunch, but they weren't sure they'd have a chef on. Lunch menu selection was poor and menus grubby. Decided to go alsewhere
    • Breakfast quality was poor. Lots of items not refilled. Lots of staff stood around.
    • The room, bathroom. The boy at the desk kept calling me mate!

    Very large rooms and clean

The mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on a plank

    5PhilipPosted on: 9-8-2024

    Breakfast was good

Room was in eaves and had velum windows so couldn’t be opened to let in fresh air on a very hot da

    Friendly staff

Dirty ripped curtains in room, mould around the bath, hair in my salad

    Location is quite good.

The restaurant was rated 3/5 which is a bit questionable for a hotel. Basic facilities and very dated.

To be honest, nothing stood out about this place.

My recent stay at your hotel was extremely unpleasant. Upon entering my room (room 317), I was met with a strong, overpowering smell of dampness, and the room was visibly mouldy. The bedding was damp and felt unclean, forcing me to sleep on top of it in my clothes. To make matters worse, there was no hot water available, preventing us from having a shower. When I raised these concerns with a staff member, they were unprofessional and showed no interest in addressing the issues. Due to these conditions, I went home early, even though I was supposed to have breakfast with my family. This experience reflects very poorly on your business, especially given the hotel’s proximity to Rockingham Castle and the regular weddings held there, which should attract numerous potential customers. I’ve also sent an email outlining these issues and absolutely would not stay here again.

During check in there was no one on the reception. We waited half an hour before one of the bar staff came over to check

Lisa was super helpful and accommodating. The suite was lovely with a superb bathroom; jacuzzi bath was a real treat!!

Small maintenance issues that could be easily addressed (window nettings were torn and badly stained). Door lock was a tricky and would benefit from a little attention. Balcony was lovely given the weather but could do with a once over from housekeeping.

The staff was very helpful and friendly.Room was cleanThe bed was very comfortable. the shower was amazing. If I need a hotel I will come again.

The only issue was online it says room service was 24 hours, and water was free.Plus, a couple of the milk portions were out of date

Our room had A/C which was great especially in the summer. All staff were very nice.

We missed the little fridge in the room that was on the booking.

    10MiraPosted on: 8-5-2024

room was excellent (new facilities) nicely decorated, clean Staff were amazing let me check in early couldn't do enough for us, just a great point to get to local attractions, and main roads, generally could not fault.

    there was no critisim

Location , close to Adrenaline alley

Carpets were filthy and the rooms had no air conditioning so we were up all night

Have used as a work base for a number of stays. Uncomplicated clean accommodation - rooms looking a little tired.Breakfast generally good value. Choose to eat dinner elsewhere. Parking is generous with EV options. Rooms not overlooking main road better option

It was for a event that I come to I stayed last year and was very pleased with my stay so decided to use you again even though I could of booked closer to the event and cheaper

When I booked on line I was given price that needed to be paid on arrival that was ok but when I got there a lady served me that was ok but then another one said I had to be leave more that I would get back when I left ? So instead of the £89 I expected I was told it would be £120 but the difference would be back with me the next morning when I booked out But this morning I was told not it could take up to 5 days ? I found this very inconvient and made me go with the money I needed for that day Also iron was not working keep going off had to keep moving plug to work for a few seconds then off again
