- The staff friendly very approachable room nice
- Staff helpfulGood location Excellent food Good value Comfortable bed room just a little outdated
- the breakfast offer was excellent and the staff so helpful, evening meals were tasty and well served. The evening specials offer could have been larger. The dining area is dark a feature of an old building but we did eat out in the courtyard which was delightful.I noted there were drawing sheets and colour pencils for the children which were well used. The staff in the bar and dining area were young but so helpful and attentive
Cons -
- The confusion about having a ground floor bedroom although I did have confirmation that that had been arranged. It was resolved by the hotel receptionist when need explained.
- Could do with mini fridge for those that bring medication. Grout in bathroom 29 round shower area of bath needs attention. Shower in room 30 water wasn’t hot, only mildly warm. Told receptionist who came, turned on shower said it’s ok. It wasn’t. They provided shower mat on request for elderly parents.
- Nothing to comment here, my stay was all positive

Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms good size and clean. Breakfast were very good.

The rooms were spotless, I was in a twin room with bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities, towels and shower get provided.Probably the best sleep I've had in a very long time, the mattress was so comfy and the curtain were black out.The food at the bar was good and with it being a Greene king it doesn't break the bank.

The staff were all very friendly. Nice choice of breakfast, all tasted good.
Room was too warm with only a small window for ventilation, better after radiator turned off and window open all day.The room needed to be decorated, as there was lots of marks and wear after what looked like years of use.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location was excellent for the wedding we were attending.
The breakfast. It took quite a while to arrive and was mostly overcooked. Maybe my taste but coffee was awful
The room was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfortable. We arrived really late but they were still able to accomodate us which we really appreciated. The continental breakfast selection was great aswell so there was no short of food to choose from for our little one.
The cooked breakfast wasn't amazing, it was nice but a bit bland.
Very nice location, good size room and nice dinner area
The bed was extremely soft and difficult to sleep on, when calling through to reception we didn't get an answer after 3 tries and the call wasn't returned after leaving a message, and there was a massive piece of shell in my egg at breakfast
Generally a good experience although the room was quite tired - tiles poor around the bath and the bed sheet was torn.
Very good value for the price paid. Good location for our needs
The bedroom was clean and modern, however the bathroom is very tired. Cracked tiles and dust traps.
Probably one of the best Greene King, "pub set" hotels I've stayed in and they're my preferred accommodation types. All the staff, reception, bar, cleaners etc were very friendly and the mix grill I had for my evening meal was cooked to perfection. Freshly cooked breakfast in the morning was also very nice.
Not the fault of the hotel but the phone signal in the area is terrible to non-existent
I have stayed a few times. The hotel looks good and there is adequate parking.
The price had rose by around 50% since we were there 2 years ago and this time the room was a little tired, it seemed like it was maybe due for an update soon. This room was also a little more cramped and I'm sure a coffee machine was mentioned when we booked but it wasn't there. Because of the huge cost rise we didn't book breakfast this time and only stayed for one evening meal which I feel had also gone a bit downhill. The staff were also confused about the difference in the menu between vegetarian and vegan which caused a bit of a mix up with the order.
Very convenient for the venue we were meeting at
Food wasn’t great and service was inconsistent. Some staff were very pleasant and helpful others less so.
I loved the decor on entering Millers, the receptionist was very welcoming & friendly. The room was clean & fresh, the bed was comfy.the breakfast was excellent. Definitely would recommend it ..
We loved how friendly the staff were and how clean and inviting the hotel was. Breakfast was amazing for the price too
The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable—spacious for a standard option—with a decent-sized TV and the usual tea and coffee facilities. Heating was straightforward to use, which made settling in easy. The shower wasn’t particularly powerful, but it was simple to operate and reached a good temperature quickly, so no real complaints there. For a budget hotel, this surpassed my expectations. It offered more than you'd typically get from a Travelodge or Premier Inn at a similar—or even slightly lower—price point, especially with the added benefit of a pleasant bar and restaurant on-site.
The location is slightly remote, but this was known when booking, so I can't fault the hotel for that.
Good
Rooms very warm for March, even with windows open, mould in bathroom around windows.
Very nice hotel food is amazing and bed was super comfy
The wifi was not working so i couldnt use the internet
There was plenty of parking, friendly staff, easy to check in. bath towels a decent size. Good range of drinks options in rooms.
suprised that so many hotels still have showers over baths instead of walk in showers
