Pros +
- Adorable hotel, fab staff, great price, food was amazing. So glad we found it. I love that it is old and quaint. The little snug was gorgeous
- The hotel was very cosy, although the heating wasn’t working, there was a stand alone heaters on hand, so the room was lovely and warm. Didn’t have breakfast there, so can’t comment on the food. Stayed in room 117.
- Easy to find, accessible and very comfortable
Cons -
- Hard to find anything negative. The room was a little cold but expected due to the age of the building and heaters were supplied.
- No USB ports, minor issue, nothing else we could think of.
- No lift , hotel abit dated

Lovely building, lovely interior, lovely spacious rooms and lovely staff . Would recommend
Lots of character, good location and comfortable bed. Also great to have a bath and shower, lots of hot water.
Lovely old property, rooms nicely presented, staff friendly
Little tired decor. Noisy bar next door
Large, clean room. Great facilities, friendly staff.
We had a ceiling leak but not anyone’s fault.
The fact that it had character, it was easily accessible from the car park-of which was greatly situated. The reception area was really cute. The bath was lovely. The bathroom immaculately clean. Good warning signs re the slippery floor/bath. The water was hot. I lived that.
It was so cold. Very cold. We looked at the dads but they were (sadly) at their highest.
Lovely breakfast freshly prepared but a little pricy at £18.95 a headRoom was fine but only had a shower above the bath - comfortable but very high bedAccessible car park opposite the hotel
Wasn’t aware that there was an extra charge for parking as we didn’t book directBroken bedside lamp in room
Very central close to everything loved the cocktail bar staff very friendly atmosphere was lovely
Fusty smell in room due to leak in ceiling
The welcome. The bar. The sofas in the main room. The room and en-suite. The bed. The decor in the room.
The stairs up to our room. A little difficult to navigate with our luggage. But most people wouldn’t mind.
We did not have breakfast but the room was very big and clean, bathroom lovely.
Location and history
Noisy kitchen extractor close to window

Lovely rooms staff were great so helpful Car park well sign posted
Liked everything
Absolutely smack in the middle of Grantham, easy to get anywhere. Excellent parking available. The food in the restaurant was lovely.
Location, historic features,, quality all round
Having to leave
Everything albeit slight expensive, it was cheapest available. All clean and nice. Located well with parking, at extra cost but only about a fiver from memory - best check.
Nothing. Didn’t try the bar but looked pricey. Cant really comment. Plenty pubs nearby if don’t like
Lovely ambience within the building as an historic hotel in Grantham.
a bit draughty from the room windows but there was an additional radiator in the room so once that was warmed up the room was toasty
