- Lovely staff who were super helpful, there's a nice very reasonably priced bar on site and parking so with the central location you're within walking distance of most things.
Cons -
- Bathroom could use an update but still clean and had whatever needed.
- The bed was not the most comfortable but really clean and well looked after.
- Nothing I would be picky to mention things

The bed was not the most comfortable but really clean and well looked after.
Check in was simple and efficient. Ample parking spaces. Helpful and pleasant host.
The hotel was in walking distance of the centre, the rooms were very comfortable and the owners were very nice, I would recommend it for the above
Nothing I would be picky to mention things
I deal location for central Grantham. Female receiptionist was very pleasant and helpful.
Male receiptionist was very abrupt. Lot of external noise well into the small hours.
A very clean and cosy hotel with lots of character. The hostess was lovely, very kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her. We would definitely come back when we are in the area again.
There wasn't anything that we did not like
Very close to centre of town with parking included.
Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. But only on half the bad so managed to find a comfy enough spot to sleep on as I’d been upgraded to a double room instead of the twin I booked
Staff very accommodating, very friendly. Actually quite lovely.
The room albeit basic was ok but there was no window as such just a sky light.Room far to hot and fan very noisy so could not have that on during the night
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a larger room. The breakfast choice was extensive and delicious. The situation of the hotel was excellent , very close to the town centre. The rooms were very clean.
Nothing, we were pleased with everything.
Friendly owner who explained everything in good detail once I arrived, free on-site parking with plenty of spaces when I arrived just in time for check-in. The room was clean and the shared bathroom (also clean) was just opposite the room.
Was welcomed with a smile and everything explained. Went into my room and met with a very tidy room with comfortable bed and a luxury carpet. I chose the shared bathroom option and this was clean, very smart nicely located.Definitely would stay again!
I was upgraded to a twin room overlooking the front which was up 37 stairs to the top floor, but I didn't mind. The room was adequate, the bed was comfortable. I heard NO noise from the traffic. Breakfast was not included in the price but I don't eat breakfast anyway. Coming and going was simple, using a fob to enter.
Only ONE hanger in the wardrobe., but not a problem for me.
I liked the staff because they couldn't do enough for you, I have stayed at the hotel numerous times and I will continue to in the future because if you're plans change they bend over backwards to try to accommodate you and they always seem to find a way.
Clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Lovely warm room. Great bar. Fantastic hosts - very friendly and helpful. It is in a perfect position - town centre, Guildhall Arts Centre, takeaways and restaurants are all within walking distance. There is a car park at the rear.
I cannot think of anything at all that we didn’t like.
Excellent location, right in the heart of the centre, Excellent hosts, comfortable bed and surprisingly guiet for its location. Private parking area is always an advantage.
Nothing to dislike, very good value
The staff were amazingly welcoming on day one, but they then let me/you down when it comes to good or sound reasoning or good service.
I had asked the maid directly around 0900hrs and had left the sign on the door handle, for the room to be serviced/cleaned, and came back hours later from breakfast in the local witherspoons around 1100hrs to find:A. There is no replacement of the wet towels. The old ones were just slung onto the bath panel, not even laid out to dry, as they were still minging wet.B. The bin was not emptied.C. The bed was not stripped, or the hugging bedding sheets were not even changed, and sadly, the bed was not even made back up properly at all.I had deliberately left the entire bed covers folded down to the middle of the bed, as we did so in the army.To show that bed had been slept in and the maid just rolled it back up the pillow and not in a professional bed making manor either, like what other GOOD hotels do.The worst thing was I had sweeted from my body shivering and was fighting off the illness and sweat from the pain that my body was in from my cold injuries. So the bed was slightly wet too, so pulling back the sheets was to air it out too and the changing of the sheets request, so that I do not go back into a damp bed or have to smell my sweaty self at night, whilst trying to sleep. Now, normally, I am embarrassed to tell people of my injuries or tell hotel staff that I have sewated the bed. Can you change the sheets. But it has been going on for so long that I don't cate that it is embarrassing, my health comes first.D. In the midst of the height of a cold winter month, the heating was off all night and day regardless of it being turned on at the radiator point. It must have been off at the boiler. Now maybe they was saving money, at the cost of the commuters'/renters health, but I am now laid up ill in bed due to pain to my war injuries and a cold from the nights stay.I tried to explain these atrocious mishaps that I suffered in a polite and non extensive manner to booking.
Well located, comfy room and great breakfast.
Property was a bit run-down.
The service was excellent
I had an issue with parking it was mainly my fault I didn't sign in for the free parking there is quite a lot of signage about the parking but I didn't realise I had to register in the reception maybe if staff could check with guests that they need to sign in for parking but like I say it was mostly my own fault
Clean room.hotel is very near town centre.
Hot water was scalding hot and couldn't be adjusted.Couldn't set taps in bath/shower yo a comfortable level. only 3 little pots of milk left in room. No phone to contact room so had to go down and back up stairs for anything you needed.Hotel is ok apart from the above, but a bit overprice IMO,for what it is.
