Pros +
- Both the restaurant and breakfast area were nice and the food was good.
- Town centre location with parking
- Beautiful hotel in the heart of Boston ?
Cons -
- The room was a bit dated. It had a lovely new bathroom which was let down by the fact the heated towel rail was belting out heat which we did not seem to be able to control. The shower water pressure was very low. It made it difficult to have a proper wash.
- No lifts room on top floor
- Clean room, comfortable bed, location.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Boston ?
Clean room, comfortable bed, location.
The room was comfortable and pleasant smelling, A 'welcome to your room' handwritten letter was left by the cleaning staff, which was a nice touch
I know you can't do much about the nightclub right outside our window with patrons noisily congregating and/or leaving from 11pm to gone 3am, but maybe warn guests so they have an option to book elsewhere
Spacious, clean, well appointed room.
Telephone not working, unable to contact staff Only one large towel available
We had a really nice room and I couldn't imagine a better location in Boston. The outdoor restaurant seating by the river is very nice. Always a bonus to have a bath and shower. Other nice touches included the radio on when we arrived, a space for opening your bag near the closet and the generous size of the suite.
Very, very minor quibbles but windows that open or a central thermostat would have been nice. There were radiators about, not unusual for an older building, but it was a warm day so the suite was hot when we arrived with no obvious way to cool it. We may have overlooked something though!
Room location was excellent. Dinner and breakfast was excellent.
General passage way carpets were filthy. Window frames were falling apart - need alot of attention. Too many stairs.
It was central to Boston and lots of bars pubs eateries very local to it.
service in général,, the food in the Restaurant :(, no Windows to open easily
The location is excellent in the heart of the town. We used the restaurant on the first night of a 3 day stay, and the food and service was very good, including the breakfasts. The classic double room was up to standard, and had everything you would want for a short stay.
During our stay we were lucky with the weather which was very warm. However the hotel heating pipes running through the bedroom were on full, (Radiator was off) but this added to an already very warm room. so much so, we both slept on top of the quilt. Also, our room was at the back overlooking the car park and the large extractor fans were very noisy running 24hrs a day. In short, sleep quality was poor, but everything else was faultless .
Welcoming staff. Comfortable room and good sized bathroom.
Shower was a bit weak. Bar prices very expensive.
Very comfortable hotel, warm and clean
The only thing I didn't like was the stairs to the room, but it was an old building without a lift, so it really didn't bother me
We booked the Mayflower Suite which was massive with a bathtub in the room. Really lovely and comfortable. Big walk in wardrobe housing iron and board and separate bathroom from a small vestibule. Lots of free parking. Superb breakfast with lots of choice.
The room was over a passageway which was a bit noisy on an evening. Not a fault of the hotel and there is little they can do about it. Although there were plenty of USB points, plug sockets were minimal and not easy to reach. Disappointing meal in the hotel restaurant.
The room we stayed in was amazing - it’s all the little touches
Breakfast average for the price - maybe staff need to check what you have paid for before shouting out in front of other guests Your breakfast only ??
Room was immaculate and check in was fab. V dog friendly. Location great for the town and parking good.
Vegetarian menu a bit limited and a bit confusing that dogs allowed in the restaurant for dinner but not for the breakfast set up so it was hard to know or see what was available for breakfast and it took a long to be served. Rooms are quite a long way from entrance and exit so not ideal with the dog.
Comfortable stay Food excellent
Short staffed Easter weekend.
The White Hart was clean, comfortable, and warm. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was lovely. We had a lovey stay in Boston it was a lovely place
The only problem we had was Saturday night. The weatherspoon over the road was very load. But it was the Easter weekend
Polite staff, comfortable bed and the hotel is convenient for my needs.
Location. Helpful and friendly staff.
The room was too hot and the WiFi was down
Good location for city centre. Nice seating downstairs and outside by river. Friendly and helpful staff.
Difficult to always book a table for dinner. The menu was being changed and so dishes were often sold out.
