Town House Rooms

Stayed for the Boston Marathon the following morning, the start line is literally a 3 minute walk from the property. Instructions and communication about how to find and get into the property were excellent.

Room 1 (which I stayed in) is next to the shared bathroom. The property is quite creaky and doors are noisy so you hear everyone from the other two rooms come and go to the bathroom. Also, being *so* central means you get all the noise of the town centre late into the night. It dies off not long after midnight but was loud until then on a Saturday night. No fridge in the shared kitchen area.

The TV and the bathroom were excellent but the there was little soap, Poor Heather

The room was a clean as expected, the bed was comfortable and the room was large. The shower was very large and bathroom superb, bed very comfortable.

) the bathroom door is falling off you have to move the door slightly to close and lock the door. Not a good impression2)the shower would be good if it had instructions how to use, the shower took us ages to get hot water. While trying all settings3)shower flooring very slippery when wet myself and my husband slipped when we had a showers when walking out of shower on to tiles.4) the doors on ALL the flats are so noisy and slam if anyone leaves there rooms it shakes the whole building and echo's through the building which is annoying on the Saturday night lots of the rooms were coming in and out all night on and off, from different rooms. So we did not get much sleep on the Saturday.5) No tea or coffee or even glasses in the kitchen downstairs at least would be good!!! I know it does state no T and C but no kettle even in the kitchen down stairs or glasses so we could not have anything in our room6) the most annoying thing (room 6) stunk of cigarettes, we both do not smoke at all and I suffer with asthma so it did not help my health at all!!! It state the rooms are non smoking rooms which they aren't and also in the corridor you could smell weed which was coming out of one of the rooms.I do not feel that the accommodation is up to standard at all. I would not book this accommodation again because of all the problems above. If it had been one problem it might of been a different review but the cigarettes maybe not!!!!The position of the establishment was good but overall not impressed at all.

Bathroom and toilet was not clean, no fridge and microwave, no tea making facilities.

Liked the cleanliness and the modern decor of the room and en suite

There could have been a couch or 2 easy chairs and a small table to be an alternative to having to sit on the bed to watch the tv. Also we never noticed in the description that this did not have any tea/coffee making facilities. We feel that these should be provided as standard as most people expect them as a basic requirement especially when breakfast is not being provided. We were woken up at 1am by the fire alarm and I had to notify the contact tel no on the booking.com email who then attended the property but was unable to reset the alarm so we had to move to the premises that were next door.

Location. good size bed room

No amenities mot even a table or chairs in the room. Minimal supply of towels

I just needed a bed for the night & it served that purpose. Room was clean, tidy & recently decorated.

Would've been nice to have had a kettle on the premises.Room was very hot.Very heavy automatic closing doors, which all slam hard.

Easy check in. Clean.

Very loud if other people staying. Even to walk outside the room you hear very loudly.

The Eastern European people below noisy and shouting in the garden constantly.

The terrace was lovely and peaceful

Bathroom was dirty...room was small and the people in the upstairs room were noisy and you could hear everything...no kettle no microwave...quite dissatisfied to be fair...as a cleaner myself..mirrors top of wardrobe etc were filthy and never been dusted...door kept jamming and wouldn't open...cheap and cheerful

The property is perfect, infarct am planning to stay there again tomorrow for a night, the only down side was the couple upstairs above Room 1, drinking and arguing all night till 05.05am, slamming doors all night, i appreciate the floor boards crick but sounded like they where having a happy dance as well all night.i had to go to work at 7am..apart from that Excellent place to stay

The room was spacious and immaculate and quiet in the evening.

I didn't sleep well due to a rather emotional and exacting day so I would have appreciated the means to make at least 1 cup of tea. I usually book en suite when I stay away from home and didn't bring a robe and the shower room was away from my room. However, I managed..

True to description, but better. A large bedroom with ample storage and a very modern ensuite. Travelling solo but worth the extra money to have the private ensuite.

A kettle etc would have been nice.

Lovely modern fixtures and fittings and good TV and bed.

The doors of the rooms slam noisily and we were unlucky to have some other noisy people stay near us who were up through the night and talking in the hallway and slamming the door closed lots in the night. Also.. we would expect tea and coffee making facilities in the room but there were none.

I did not realise there was no en suite to my room.Then main entrance door needs a handle to close it properly. I had to pull it shut by putting my hand on the letter box to pull it shut.

This was excellent for the money, very clean, middle of town, we went for the cheapest accommodation not expecting much, but it was lovely

No facilities in room, tea and coffee plus a bottle of water would be nice. But still very happy with the room

Room was fresh and clean..really comfy bed..nice clean kitchen area..modern bathroom with big shower...highly recommended.

The amount of emails and messages that comes with the booking..small gripe but a beautiful place..

Very clean large room. Lovely large & easy to operate shower. Bed excellent. Heating excellent. Plenty of towels. Storage excellent. Security v good. Exceptional staff.

On first night could not unfortunately obtain immediate access when returning to the building during the evening as key-pad to the main door was inoperative.... this was subquently found to be due to a discharged battery, which was attended to.Could not retain window open for fresh air.Would have liked a kettle to make a cup of tea or coffee.
