Former bistro at front of house now a pub, with decor more suitable for young people

The hosts were lovely and the location was great...Overall a great stay and would stay again ?

The room where you got your breakfast was quite small and didn't help that everyone seemed to go down at the same time and some of the people seemed to think they were in their own kitchen(not a reflection on the hotel but an annoying side factor)..Car park was full also so had to park on the main road which my friend didn't feel good about.

Great location and the clee had a bar.breakfast OK.

It wasn’t in the hotel itself….it was 2 houses away, in another house. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the springs dug in us.

Comfortable bed, decent shower, fridge in the room & good free WiFi. Friendly staff.

The property was ideal for our trip which was to watch football. Location was ideal and whilst basic the staff were very friendly, car parking available and a lively bar. Room was dated but clean and comfortable

Location for what we needed.

Small inadequate car parking. It's not easy to manoeuvre cars.Noisy bar areas as open to public. Very dated.

The man that was in bar as we got there was very helpful.

Would have liked English breakfast or choice.

Don’t bother look elsewhere

Nice sign saying respectfully to neighbour’s and staying clients on door near the stairs . shame they play musics / karaoke in their bar till very late and the rooms above are not soundproof for it . Contradictory to there sign .No real parking on or near the place not worth the money they charge .

Didn't like the buffet breakfast room too small when everyone trying to get it at same time

Loved the people and the atmosphere, loved the help yourself breakfast, meat and cheese and bread were very nice ( there was lots more choice) Bar prices were cheap and we were made to feel extremely welcome.The whole place is quirky with its deco in the bar to the layout of the hotel but I liked this. Gave the place lots of character. Yes the rooms could do with a lick of paint and updating but then the venue would be twice the price!Decent sized mugs and kettle In the room. Easy walk down to the pier and an amazing fish n chip shop in erny beckets as recommend by the hotel. Would stay again

Breakfast a good continental selection , room spacious and comfortable ,really friendly staff and very accommodating and Murphy the big cat was a bonus .

Although spacious the toilet was too close to shower/wall , but did offer us another room.

Friendly, informative check-in.Room was very clean with freshly laundered sheets. Room was spatious and had lots of storage.Lights and plug sockets plenty.Bed was inviting and comfortable to sleep in.Good size tv, with good signal.Free strong Wi-Fi.The staff are approachable and friendly. Always ready to help.Nice little bar. Reasonably priced.Murphy, the resident cat , was a cute bonus! Located a short walk from the main hustle and bustle of the town.

Clean, staff were really helpful and the location was 5 min walk from everything. Decent breakfast too which you could take back and eat in the room if you wanted too

Cleanliness.cleaning needs to be more though.dirty shower , bathroom floor, bedsheets full of hairs. Dirty pillowcase. Artificial flowers above the bed on a shelf full of cobwebs and dust .walls dirty.Only 5 parking spaces filled by people in the bar. no meals available.noisy with bar noise.still drinking at 12.45am.worst hotel ever booked.they say breakfast is free but it is not with the standard of the room for price paid. Only a one star at best.Breakfast room small everyone handling the food. Especially when the booking form mentions so much about COVID contamination.Think the bar is more important to the owners than the rooms.False advertising about facilities.Complete ruined our experience visiting our friends 60th birthday party.

This is our third time at the Clee. We absolutely love it! Pet friendly, the guy who checked us in was super helpful n friendly. A lovely lively bar, close to the beach n shops. Very roomy rooms spotless with clean smelling sheets n super big bath towels too. I love a continental breakfast n it’s a good spread they put on. Thank you. We will see you again:)
