⛔️Beware this hotel is a scam,You book they canceland they are sneaky ringing you up on a mobile Number not associated with the hotel and cancelling then you only get £5 refund and booking.com don’t help,STAY WELL CLEAR ⛔️

We got all the way there which was a 3 hour journey just see a post outside saying the building is closed down we had no money to pay for anywhere else to stay so had to travel all the way back home the say day!!!!

We arrived nobody in reception, text owner, he text back booking cancelled, had paid in advance,am. now trying to claim off insurance, do not go here, it's rotten, scammer

I wouldn't know we walked out of the property after being inside for 4 minutes.

Everything! The customer service was absolutley shocking, it was filthy and smelt like there was a decomposing animal somewhere.

There were no lights on at all and we got taken to the bar area if you can call it that where there were piles of dirty washing and rubbish everywhere. We were then told there was no booking for us which we were over the moon about and got turned away. We then had to book somewhere else near by last minute. We complained to booking.com and asked them to request a full refund which he responded with a refusal but offered a change of date . I wouldn't even let an animal stay in that place let alone a human!!!! Avoid at all costs, do not waste your money.

disgusting don’t recommend to anybody. arrived in cleethorpes and suddenly got a message saying no such booking meaning they weren’t giving me a room or giving me back a refund! i then had to contact my bank asking for a refund as i had to find another place to stay.

The location

Unfortunately the only clean part seems to be to be the entrance hall, walking up stairs to my room id already decided it wasnt going to be a great stay. The walls were damaged and the carpets dirty, my room was dusty it had 3 cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and a dead spider in the corner, the pictures were dusty and so was the bed frame and side table. The skirting boards again dusty and dirty. I didn’t stay and checked out soon after. When I explained why im not staying i received no apology or offer to clean or refund me just ok see u later!! Waste of £60 and ruined my weekend!!

Bar on the photo’s advertised looked really good but the bar actually looked more like a storage room. Pictures advertised on Booking.com looking nothing like the actual hotel.

Nothing took my money never let me through the door with my partner at night freezing cold.. very poor attitude from the owner. Tried to ask for £100 extra to let us stay. Even though he said the heating in our was broken.. fuming with this place. Don't recommend to anyone....@!!!@!

Horrendous pre stay experience. I was advised via text my room had been cancelled the day of travel unless I paid an extra £20 per night. Intimidating and scary communications and I had to find alternative accommodation last minute. Would not recommend for solo female traveller as the ‘host’ communication was disturbing.

Friendly staff, very comfortable and clean room, close to all the amenities and very fairly priced

Location

Although understand the Hotel is undergoing a refurb, there is some way to go, my room had been redecorated and furnished and although a little tight was adequate for a short overnight stay.For the price paid was more than adequate, although difficult to contact regarding a possible late arrival. Would say more of a Guest House with additional facilities than a Hotel.

Bed was good and good night's sleep. Room was nice and warm.

No hot water at washbasin. Shower head needed cleaning, water in every direction. Kettle did not work properly. Coffee mugs were dirty. Carpet needed hoovering.

The actual bedroom and bed were nice, the ensuite could do with an update and the communal areas a little tatty but overall I would stay there again for the price as a place to lay my head after a night out.
