Cons -
- I didn't like the pillows, hard and flat. I would have liked to have been able to open the windows or have a fan. Dinner was ok, had the roast, the veg was very very hard and the gravy was very salty.

- Impersonal staff, overpriced and poor food

Lovely big room well equipped.Food excellent.
Peaceful countryside stay with great breakfastThis is a lovely family-run hotel in the countryside. We had a huge room with a very comfortable bed. The jacuzzi was unfortunately out of order. Also, the bathroom fan keeps running for a long time after the light is turned off — if possible, it would be better if it shut off after just a minute.Overall, we had a very relaxing stay surrounded by nature — fresh air, peace and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. For dinner, we went to another hotel just 5 minutes away by car, as the on-site restaurant closes at 8 PM.

Beautiful room great location fantastic staff. Great food
Excellent location excellent restaurant meals and fair price. Quiet location and walks in the area .Room very spacious and warm and modern.
Very poor atmosphere in the public areas . It was quiet when we arrived with only 6 or so locals outside and then in the bar inside. Appreciate quiet but still lack of atmosphere. I would suggest a tv in the restaurant area to lighten things up instead of depressing cd . Owner on site but didn't really mingle or chat to non locals but we would still return.
The room was great. Spacious, extremely comfortable bed, decent shower in a good-sized bathroom.Staff were lovely - efficient and helpful.
The wi fi is a bit of a pain - with the caravan park behind - there is too much demand on the system.Breakfast was OK
Nice room and Ensuite in a pretty location
Small breakfast, walks very thin, wifi didn’t work.
Classic features, modern vibe, great bar, good food.
I would have preferred a better hand over of our room key. There was no direction as to how to ‘check out’. I had to go looking for someone and the Mai doors were locked.
Staff very friendly and room clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was very good. We didn't order breakfast so unable to comment.Caravan site to the rear and a nice place to sit outside in the sunshine looking at the view.
Just needs a little updating in the pub/restaurant.
Wonderful location. Great views. Warm welcome from Mo who was very helpful and friendly. Had dinner on first night which was excellent both in quality and value for money. Great service from Mo and Scott.will definitely return.
Lovely pub in a beautiful location. Rooms clean, modern and clean comfy. Very welcoming and fantastic breakfast.
Very friendly & welcoming staff. The pub is lovely with a log burner. Food is great, including breakfast, & accommodation is lovely & spacious.
Lovely country pub, friendly staff.
The mattress was far too hard, when I got to my room there was a pile of dirty laundry in the floor by the door. The room was clean so I just pushed it out onto the corridor. There were no plugs by the bedside which was annoying. Breakfast was good but I would have expected a little more good on the cooked breakfast for the price.
Very friendly and helpful Mo was on the go all the time we were there. A good worker and polite. The food was first class the chef was very good at his job couldn't praise him too much would definitely stay there again
Liked it all.
Everything except below.
The bed was hard. My partner was up and down as she has back problems. She needed to sit in the chair as it was more comfy. You could feel every spring.
Lovely Yorkshire country pub. Great warm welcome on a busy Saturday evening. Super clean bedroom, huge comfy bed with great linen. Warm bright room with all the facilities and a wonderful view across the valley. Excellent breakfast.
