The room was nicely decorated and spacious. The location is perfect, so close to all the amenities. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast quite expensive so we ate elsewhere. The parking charge was also quite expensive.
Fabulous location. Great parking (extra £15) lovely bed and linen. Lovely breakfast
No hot water in the morning. No explanation either or apology. When we checked out, the receptionist said "well no-one had any hot water" like this made it better.
Room was well positioned , front facing good view , breakfast very good , location very good.
lower charges on car parking , and your site booking . com site should say if parking free or payable and not that there is parking
Lovely big room and delicious breakfast.
Room a little tired and the lighting not great.
Great location, less than 5 minutes walk from Betty's tearoom. Hotel staff were very smart and professional. Room was lovely and breakfast was delicious (lots of choice on the menu). Would definitely stay again and recommend.
No negatives
Location, quality of the room and service
Good position. Food was good in restaurant
Tired and old. Radiator didn’t work well.
Quality of service, room quality and public areas all very good. Excellent location. Very good breakfast.
Windows needed attention and the net curtains were old fashioned and out of place with the hotel.
Great location, smart & comfortable with polite staff
Room temperature control was tricky, either too cool or too hot in turn.Disappointing breakfast for a hotel of this standard with overdone poached eggs, sausage cooked on one side & self serve tea & coffee albeit in pots.
Great location and car parking. Restaurant is excellent
On second day the bar was closed and wooden floors were being cleaned with out any prior notice
Breakfast very good and evening meal
Was a shame they were sanding the floors when we arrived so very noisy and no entrance furniture.Landings were looking a bit tired, Junior suit was large but not very well furnished or decorated. To remote did nor work in the lounge. Large shower but slippery stainless steel base.
Very comfortable, stylish and relaxing hotel with nice bar and restaurant. Large suite with super large bathroom, very nice! Great central location.
The furnishings, the bedroom, the staff, the bar all lived up to expectations!
Sadly, I’m very sorry to say, the food was well below par! The front of house staff comped the charges and were most apologetic. It was desperately unfortunate that these were so badly let down by the performance of the kitchen! Previously found to be excellent, I feel sure they will bounce back. One of my favourite hotels and I only say this to help them understand the problem! No passion in the kitchen!
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, room great and super location.
Location is great.Junior suite was great.
Food in bistro is ok but not fantastic. Consider other restaurants in Harrogate.
Stay here alot to visit mum. Always get a basement room as they are bigger with a bath.
Unfortunately I was allocated the room under reception and the night staff were noisy all night
The location of the hotel was excellent, short walking distance to the main bars and restaurants and shops. We didn’t have breakfast.
