    • The bar and restaurant are lively, loads of locals hang out there. The staff is kind, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, but the Guinness was better. I’d recommend for anyone visiting Strabane!

    Cons -

    • Would like a little more heat. Radiators werent really warm.
    • There was no heating on all evening or nite at all it was freezing cold and it was very cold outside as well and the rooms have seam to have got smaller and not much room to move about and food the dinners wer very small portions fr price u pay the spuds was very small on plate had to get more pay more fr ur dinner to have resonable dinner i have been goin to fir trees alot times but big changes now and heating was big thing no heating in room at all
    • Room was unclean - toilet was filthy, table was sticky, teaspoons were stuck together with tea. Changed rooms and had the exact same issues in the exact same places. The manager was not apologetic at all and not very accommodating. Another staff member however was very lovely to deal with - she was a saving grace in terms of customer service. Our first room had a door connecting to another room. We could hear every word from the people in that room even though they were speaking at a regular volume. When we changed rooms, this wasn’t an issue as we weren’t connected to another. That said, at 2am we woke up from people outside the window - again they weren’t being overly loud, but it sounded like they were in the room with us. Price was the best we found for a one night stay last minute - but next time I’d pay the extra amount for a better stay.

The breakfast was good. Location was good for what we needed to do.

We could hear other people talking in room next door.. muffled but still clear enough.

The location and staff were great and food too

    7MelindaPosted on: 1-1-2026

The included breakfast was lovely, lots of choices on the menu and a continental buffet as well. The restaurant was busy in the evening and was a nice meal. The room was fine, and served a purpose of a 1 night stay!

The shower leaked all down the divider and flood the floor. There was a strong cigarette smell around the hallways.

Lovely big bed and good breakfast.

It was a little cold in the room but the staff give us an extra heater and it wasn’t long warming up

    Very poor

The owner was rude and came into the room that we had booked for a party and started givingoit to us about his staff and where they told us to hang banners and balloons. I had to ask him numerous times to please go and talk to his staff, as we were only doing what we were instructed was appropriate for decorating the room. After he finally left, he came back into the room a few more times throughout the night while the party was going on, and the only thing he was doing was upsetting the person the party was for.

Staff at reception was really friendly n breakfast was nice.

We didn't check in til 6.00, and when we did the room was freezing the radiator wasn't working so I went down to reception stood 4 a while but there was no one there so I went back up to the room. I waited a while then went back down, the girl was lovely about it and said she wil get some1 to the room to check it, he was there with in 10mims meanwhile I was that cold I hada gt in2 the bed under the blanket for heat and jst as wel I did cause the blanket was thin. The man had a luk n said the radiator was nt wrkin so he said he'll gt us a heater so I asked for an extra blanket to. When they came back the girl offered us another room but we had unpacked and by this time it was after 7 and we hada b ready 4 a party dwn stairs for 8.00 which was the reason 4 r stay so we'd no time so jst stayed. When payin £115 num1 for me is a nice warm room n deffo in December not having 2 hav a heater in the way in the room and having to gt an extra blanket, yes we were offered another room but we'd no time even still for £115 dnt think that's gud enough. When we were leaving I did say again nt to gt anything but I wasn't even offered anything
