    Pros +

    • Not a lot
    • Great location next to Bescot stadium and close the the railway station with execellent half hourly train services to Walsall and Birmingham.
    • The property was okay… the corridors had some weird smell but our room was surprisingly fresh and clean! The breakfast was so basic and monotonousThe best experience was with the staff! They were so kind and friendly

    Cons -

    • The food was mediocre and overpriced, things were poorly organised, and the whole place was scruffy and rundown. It's a place to sleep, not much else.
    • No hot water from the shower, water was barely lukewarm despite turning the temperature tap up to the maximum.Lighting in the room was a bit dim, and only two easily accessible power sockets.
    • The bad smell in the corridors

I DO NOT EXPECT TO STAY IN A HOTEL WHERE MIGRANTS HAVE OCCUPIED FOR THE PREVIOUS 2 YEARS. THERE WERE SECURITY FEATURES CLEARLY IMPOSED FOR THE INTESTESTS OF THE MIGRANTS, YOU SHOULD NOT NEED CCTV EVERY 10 YARDS. YOU SHOULD NOT NEED SIGNS EVERWHERE THAT BASICALLY ASK GUSETS TO REFRAIN FROM USING THE CORRIDORS AS A TOILET. YOU SHOULD NOT NEED FROSTED GLASS ALL AROUND THE GROUND FLOOR. AND YOU SHOULD NOT NEED BLUNT, BASIC KNIVES AND FORKS FOR SAFTY REASONS. THE HOTEL FEELS UNSAFE AND ENTIRELY UNPLEASENT.

Fantastic value, and the staff were brilliant!! Especially a lady who said she had only been there since October, I didn't get her name unfortunately ? Room was excellent, bed was comfy, great night's sleep!!Breakfast was good, although, I would've liked a few more options with the full English, but can't complain, as everything lasted great!!

    Nothing, everything was fantastic ?

They gave me ground floor room, it was too cold to say, there is no USB charging point, backdated hotel, bathroom was so old and basin was like aeroplane type steel basin! Breakfast was true ordinary, too basic, no variety no hash brown & mushroom , staff are so back dated as they don’t understand what is egg omelet with cheese ! They gave me scrubbed egg with cheese & i could not had it at all. It was worst staying in radission & i boycott the other chain of radission

    Lots of choice.

Wide choice of items but only in small amounts so things ran out, temporarily, when larger groups arrived. Had to wait for items to be replenished.

I can't say what I liked as I got an email from booking.com to say that we were being transferred to the Holiday Inn as the park inn had electrical issues due to a water leak, hence why I can't rate anything...

The fact that I never got to stay there.

    Convenient for Commonwealth games

Rooms are old and tired in furnishings. Colour scheme a bit drab

    Its a decent hotel.

The rooms were very uncomfortable. There was so many little noises coming from everywhere. The next morning all my family and friends were complaining. Very uncomfortable sleep.

    6PhilippaPosted on: 12-15-2022

Room was nice enough clean etc

The heating had been put at 30degrees it was boiling and we turned it off as soon as we arrived at 7pm and opened the windows but it did not cool and was too hot during the night.
