Holiday Inn Express Walsall M6 J10 By IHG

The location suited my purpose, I was attending a Family celebration: the Hotel was central, which allowed me to attend the venues with ease.Bonus being a Retail Park near by.

The staff in reception were good. Fire alarm went off today at 04:45. Handled well. Then went off 2 more tones(poor) then no water at all at 07:00 am so could not flush toilet, brush teeth or have a shower. Breakfast was poor. No manager present to handle my request for discount/refund. I am expecting a call back from the hotel manager to discuss my claim for discount/refund. Unlikely to stay there again or recommend to my colleagues. Looking forward to hearing back from the hotel manager tomorrow. Regards,Steve

I been charged twice for same booking and I contacted the hotel they say booking needs to refund me

People fighting kicking doors banging doors shouting swearing 3am-6am no security on site

Friendly staff very helpful ,Room warm on arrival and comfortable , Breakfast had plenty of options

Maybe a couple more tea bags in the room possibly

Nice clean hotel and super friendly staff

Property was fine but didn’t like being put in a disabled room as I’m quite tall. So having to bend over to use some of facilities was a pain.

Very near to the motorway to return to London

We always choose this hotel when I visit my elderly father

Good location, easy to find. Good parking. Pleasant staff. Cleanliness of the room. Breakfast good. Good value for money.

No dry ginger ale in bar (not really an issue) bedside light in bedroom not working (room 18) everything else good.

Unclean room hairs everywhere uneven in bed reported this but herd nothing Breakfast was cold and stale and full of grease where it’s left there for to long

Noisy guests but not hotels fault. They did deal with the issue

The staff, room, food, facilities, free carpark, location, easy check in & out.

The smell of someone smoking cannabis along the corridor from us. However the manager dealt with it immediately.

Room was ok

Being charged a parking fine a week after staying, despite entering the correct car reg details at reception when checking in. It is now 1 month after our stay, still trying to track down the refund. The parking fine was more than the room charge once admin fee was added, it won't happen again as I will not be staying here in future, I don't have time to spare chasing this refund. Unhappy!!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming anything we needed it was attended to straight away!. Breakfast was lovely also ☺️ pancake machine is a winner!. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will be definitely staying again ☺️

Always seem to be noisey around midnight-2am -doors slamming-people not respecting other guests peace

Cold during the night. Had heating on but was blowing cool air which I eventually switched off as it was to cold in room.

Great hotel close to where I needed to go. Free parking and breakfast is included.

Not very child friendly, I did request for a cot in the room which was not placed.No fridge or microwave so unable to store or make babies milk or toddlers milk.Luckily I had family around.
