Pros +
- Friendly staff, comfy beds, nice breakfast
- The staff were great price was great and location was easy to find
- The staff were brilliant, professional and friendly, particularly the receptionist who checked me in, and Leslie who looked after me at breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.
Cons -
- The showers have a licence to kill. They are very temperamental and get very hot.
- The ONLY thing I could fault was the creaky floor above us and that is me being picky which just shows how good of a place it was to stay. And that is being picky!!!
- The room was a bit hot although the radiators were turned off. Nothing that opening the window didn’t sort though.

Spacious room, good breakfast, friendly staff and soft bedding
Some maintenance needed and draughty windows
We had the family privilege room and it was huge! Two double beds and lots of space for bags ect. Perfect room if traveling with kids/babys. There were lots of cars outside which makes me think they had a lot of guests staying the same time but wouldn’t have known. Breakfast time there was only a handful of people so it was really nice and chilled. Really liked the car park and how easy it was to access the hotel from the main road. The staff are all really friendly! We stayed 3 nights while we were visiting family close by and would happily stay again. Perfect place for a B&B. Property was lovely and heated and easy to control the temperature of the room with the radiator/windows/ac.At night the room was extremely dark. Perfect for sleeping! The hotel doesn’t have a lunch/evening restaurant or bar but does have leaflets for local takeaways and a supermarket.
When we first went into the room we could smell stale smoke. It was very strong. We sprayed perfume and bought a candle to help get rid of the smell. We found that the carpet had cigarette burns and some parts of the room required some decorating but it’s still a really nice size and has some really nice features like mirrors and furniture. We went to use the shower on our second morning of staying there and found that the shower wouldn’t work. Luckily We were able to have washes with the bath. We didn’t know who was best to tell because the reception seemed to only be manned at a certain time and it also didn’t bother us to much because we were only there to sleep and have breakfast but in the summer time I’d probably have been more concerned about needing a working shower.Don’t expect your room cleaned everyday if staying for more than 1 night, we were happy not having someone in our room while we were out but unfortunately our bins were overflowing with rubbish by the time it was ready to leave - sorry to the housekeeper who cleaned our room after we left.
Staff were really friendly, polite and welcoming. Parking right outside guest entrance, Breakfast was nice and great selection.
Bathroom had pubic hair from previous guests around the floor. Shaving mirror was broken. Long trek around numerous corridors and through lots of doors to reach room. Seemed a bit dilapidated, and tired.
Provision of bath and good breakfast. Good parking.
Could not reach light from bed in my room. Same room as stayed in last time. Move bed nearer light switch!
Nothing - filthy walls and carpets, shower only worked on extremely hot, radiator on full blast, bathroom floors tiles smashed, stains in bath, door interior smashed as if a previous break in, smoking receptionist on arrival - room 223 - hotel needs closing down

The location and staff
The shower was out of workingThe towels weren’t changed
The lady on reception was friendly and helpful
The hotel has imagrants living there You have to use the dirty side entrance to get in, there's hundreds of fag ends all over the entrance and the bins where overflowing too , not a nice welcome, Our room absolutely stank of sweat , the room didn't feel safe and I didn't want to shower there because of how dirty it felt.
clean well sized room with good breakfast and great car park
entrance untidy
Convenience of late booking @area
The dripping tap. The uncomfortable bed The heating
Good for a night or two. The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious and had everything you needed. Car parking was handy and included in the price. Also had a delicious cooked breakfast and continental options.
Don’t expect charm or aesthetics. When you arrive to the hotel it looks abandoned. Getting to your room feels like a maze and It appears to look unclean due to the stains on the carpet. It’s also hard to have a shower when the water temperature is set to boiling hot.
Good parking and a full vegetarian breakfast was available as well as plant based milk.
There wasn’t a bar or dinner available
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Rooms very poorly maintained, damage to doors, bathroom floor damaged and bog repaired, sink taps loose, creaky floorboard very noisy. Thin walls so get all the noise from other rooms! It's obvious that the hotel doesn't invest in the building or rooms. Not really value for money but I can't fault the staff they were the only decent part of the hotel.
The staff were nice..
The location,no working bar..there was a musty smell in the hall, the window in my room wouldn't close properly
Very poor and I feel...
Double room was two beds put together , and the electric kept tripping all through my stay, I had to keep fetching reception but staff were fine
Nice clean tidy and comfortable room..
Layout of the corridor was a little unclear
It’s was convenient, the lady on reception sorry didn’t get her name was lovely, she upgraded me to a double as I had only booked a single and was staying two nights
Its in major need of a paint job, the bedding was very clean but the bathroom needed attention. It was a very busy hotel and there was much activity up until around midnight with people coming and going, there was also a noise which was intermittent perhaps a generator not sure but by the second night I think I got used to it
I enjoyed leaving this hotel, only good thing was how nice the lady was in sorting out our problems with the room.
Room we had was bath only, then we got allocated another room with a shower, but all the tiles were off the bath and just dumped on the floor to only find the 3rd was substantial enough to stay in.
