Clean and good service

No laundry service and no mini refrigerator in room

Very nice and clean staff very friendly

The location was no good too far away from anything The breakfast wasn't the best the scrambled egg was just a poached egg chopped up the bacon was very salty. The American pancakes were not what we were expecting.

It was cheap

I waited for 10 minutes in reception while the receptionist finished an unnecessarily long call to check in. I then waited another 15 minutes at the bar to get served and order food. The meal was disappointing. Cooked breakfast was advertised and menus and sauces were on the tables, but I waited 15 minutes after the time I had booked a table for a member of staff to appear so that I could place my order, only to be told that cooked breakfasts were not available

To start the Smell of urine on the landing The bed was like concrete and full of bed bugs or flees as we are covered in bites Thus is some kine of hostel or migriant hotel please avoid at all costes

Nice clean friendly environment

Easy location to find, close to motorway for onward journeys. Great food, lovely staff. Room just sparkling clean and comfy. Budget price but gives you more. Only downside!!! PG Tips....ugh..... add some Yorkshire Tea and a couple of custard creams and it's perfect.

No hot breakfast available, only continental, no chef available !!!

A reasonable medium price chain hotel. Clean, reasonably comfortable.

Having given someone with some mobility issues a room furthest from the reception, it would have been helpful if the key card worked. Traffic noise intrusive.

When you have to drive home and expect breakfast available and at 10.15 say they have stopped serving due to run out of food absolutely a shit show absolutely rubbish and disgraceful bad management never to return

No food consumed due to a gas leak and limited menu then. Stayed there before and it's clean,staff are friendly and willing to help in any way possible

Good location, value for money, good staff, comfortable rooms.

Breakfast needs better quality sausage, black pudding and could be delivered a bit hotter.

Reasonable value for money

Couldn’t find the location using the booking com directions were a waste of time. After contacting the hotel they gave me the wrong postcode…..

Bed was very comfy. Room was quiet.

Room was a little cold when I came in, but heating worked.

I liked the location, it was quiet, the room was clean and the pub was good.

All was good.

Easy check in, clean, comfortable, good night's sleep, good location and good overall value

TV had limited channels, no ITV, channel 4 or channel 5. Also, I booked for 2 nights and my room was not refreshed after first night. As a result we ran out of tea, coffee, milk, towels & toilet roll

Tidy room with plenty of beds for a family. Close to the motorway which was perfect for our journey.

The shared stairway wasn’t very clean, tissues and chips on the floor.Asked for a cot, it was confirmed by the business but there wasn’t one in the room. I was too tired from travelling to raise this point with them, so this is partly my doing for not mentioning it when I’d booked in.

The staff were really friendly welcoming and helpful food was reasonably priced and nice The rooms were clean comfortable beds very good value for money have stayed here a few times now and will continue to stay here when I visit blackburn and recommend the willows to my friends

Needs improvement and more thought

Heating was broken - actually stuck on 28 degrees C! Could only control heat output with fan and had to leave the window open in middle of winter (below freezing outside). Corridor from room to front doors stunk of cigarette smoke (isn’t it illegal to smoke inside a public space?). Shower over bath didn’t have enough handgrips to ensure safety and no anti slip coating in bath. Insufficient clothing storage - no drawers and bedside storage shelf not big enough to put phone and glass of drink on because bedside light switches in the way.
