Healds Hall Hotel

The tasting menu in the restaurant was very good. We stayed at the hotel for the offer on the food but paid dearly for the room. Generous sized room (but still overpriced for ‘super deluxe’ room. There was nothing special about it).

As we were getting ready for the evening we had no hot water for over an hour (faulty boiler) staff worked hard to put it right. Would have liked a complimentary drink before our meal as an apology but disappointingly there was no good will gesture.

We enjoyed dinner and breakfast (it was a one night stay to be close to family).

Bedrooms need updating.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and found the food to be both reasonably priced and excellent quality. The cooked breakfast was lovely, too. The room we had was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel, friendly staff and beautiful comfy room. We were visiting for a wedding.

Full English was excellent, was going to have continental the second morning but there was icing sugar all over the croissants which is a big NO being type one diabetic

The regular coffee served with breakfast was very weak

Dining. The food is excellent and the staff exceptional. The room decor was warm and inviting, though some may find the colours a little dark, we liked it.

The breakfast was cooked to order with an extensive choice and was served hot, continental was self-service apartfrom the toast. dinner was excellent and with a varied menu, but, quite expensive. The room was standard as we hadbooked that. As the building is very old, the windows were sash windows, and, therefore, were a bit draughty,but therewas a heater located in the room,The room was exceptionally clean...

The view from the bedroom window consisted of a brick wall, we would have preferred a view.

This place is a little gem with welcoming staff, great food and a very comfortable and clean room. I even received a room upgrade! I would definitely return.

Breakfast was good, but expensive.

No hot water in our room in the shower or sink, charged us twice and had to ask for a refund the next morning on one of the charges. No service at the bar just after midnight, despite there being someone available to serve, we thought hotels had 24-hour licenses? Bed was small and very uncomfortable. For the price we would have been better staying in a Premier Inn or even a Travelodge. Very disappointing.

The service and quality of the food in the evening in the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was freshly cooked in the morning and again was excellent as was the service

I booked a single room which was a bit cramped I would book a double next time

The single room was a bit outdated but fully functional.

The food at breakfast and restaurant dinner menu were very good. The room service was also very good.

Sometimes there were long waiting times for being served dinner due to Christmas party functions putting pressure on kitchen and service facilities.

Immaculate clean room, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the food was amazing I would recommend 100%

The hotel was great very local to where we needed to be and the room was great too comfortable and spacious everything we needed, breakfast was excellent and all the staff were friendly, helpful and they were there if needed.

The only thing was the shower although there were a notice explaining the water was hot and it was but when using the shower when trying to regulate it the shower then seemed to run cold longer than warm/hot.

The full English breakfast was excellent, the room was small, but being only a single bed it didn't matter, the en-suit was large enough and with a TV and kettle in the room, that was all that was needed. I didn't have an evening meal there.Staff were very friendly.

The bar closed at 9:00pm (Sunday), but I wasn't sure if this also applied to residents, not that it mattered on this visit.

The hotel is good , but I left it hungry in the morning because of somebody mistake

I have lost my breakfast , because a lady at reception did not say that breakfast is finished at 9 amAnd no any information in the room that breakfast is finished so early

Lovely. Modern and clean. Nice grounds lots of parking. Easy to navigate
