    Pros +

    • Very dog friendly and good location for me. The hotel is looking a little tired now but the staff are friendly and as a solo traveller I felt safe.
    • Unfortunately, we were put into alternative accommodation, so we didn’t get to experience a stay at Bredbury Hall Hotel, but the staff were highly accommodating and helpful.
    • The staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was good.

    Cons -

    • The beds were atrocious! So uncomfortable and noisy.
    • I wasn’t at the property due to cancellation but was moved and accommodated for the short notice
    • Upon arrival at the hotel at my booked time I was met by security and informed that the hotel was closed. I had to wait outside until management appeared. I was then transferred by taxi to alternative accommodation near Stockport railway station from where I had just journeyed from. The alternative hotel was fine and conveniently located but I would have preferred to have been informed by Bredbury Hall in advance of this. I had only booked my accommodation within the previous week.

Room good size and comfortable. Food was good. Room needed deep clean.

Just the cleaning of the room, there was stains all over the woodwork, and bedside cabinet.

The room was a great size and all the staff I spoke to were lovely. Parking was easy and close by.

Didn't have breakfast as I thought it was a little expensive

Staff were very friendly, brilliant with my daughter. Breakfast was lovely and the room was really nice and huge. Shower pressure was brilliant. Love the little dog station in the entrance.

The noise about midnight and 3am as people were leaving the club. Mattress was dipped.A few issues over lack of stock in the restaurant at dinner time.Marked difference between the dog friendly bedrooms and normal rooms.

    The property is fantastic

Many asylum seekers with many children mingling with paying guests. As it has become their home they were noisy late evening and early morning

Lovely place beautiful views. Clean rooms. Great bathroom. Staff were great. Food was excellent.

    There was nothing to dislike.

Great value, nice remote area, there's a nice park nearby and we went for a walk. Good breakfast too, and plenty of parking spots available

    5NickPosted on: 8-12-2023

Room was very nice and clean.

There were refugees all over the hotel, running about and noisy. Also lots of security which made us feel unsafe. We were not notified about the situation and wouldn't have stayed if we'd known.

    The location and the room

Poor service in the Lounge Restaurant and the attitude of Receptionist when asked to order a taxi

    10KelliePosted on: 8-11-2023

Very well kept, spotless. The rooms are beautiful, Staff were amazing. very close to the festival we were attending. I would recommend. This was a last minute booking for us, great price.

One member of security would not let me leave the building one night to go out and get my friends from the taxi. she said if I left I would not be aloud back on the premises even after I told her I have booked for 4x Guest and only two of us were in the room. I was only going out to help them carry the stuff in from the festival.

Good food, clean, and friendly staff

Bed wasn't super comfortable, just an old matress

    6StephenPosted on: 8-7-2023

Large, clean family room with 2 comfy double beds

Dated and tatty decor in corridor, Migrants living in basement.

    8AyushPosted on: 8-7-2023

A vintage and aesthetically pleasing property and the staff was really friendly .

Its a fairly old property and rooms sure look like it. No Air conditioning in the rooms and carpets and rooms had an old smell to them.

    3SimonPosted on: 8-6-2023

Stunning property with impeccable attention spent on the cleaning OUTSIDE the building.

Once inside it soon became apparent that the hotel is run down, tired and in need of attention. Toe nail clippings found on floor in room. Mouldy unclean shower.

    6ColinPosted on: 8-4-2023

My main issue is the lack of ventilation in the rooms , it could do with a/c on such a hot July evening. The hotel suffers a little with out of date decor , but the room was very clean . The breakfast was excellent
