Location idea for the airport. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast.

The mattress wasn't very comfortable and bedroom a little cold.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable.I understand we were pre warned about no lifts, but there are a lot of stairs and the handrails to get up and down the stairs are really low, making it hard to not fall

The property is busy at night so did t get as much rest as we had anticipated but it’s not terrible.

Only issue we had was the bar had absolutely no juice at all for kids to have a drink or for mixers had to go to garage which was across the road. Apart from that it was fine

Just being asked for £100 deposit which although it may be in the small print if you book direct,, the chap at front desk said I would not get it back for days which was too tricky 4 me. In the end he said don't pay it which I appreciated.

It was very handy for where we needed to be for a family funeral. We had a family room which was great and the beds were comfy and linen clean with nice towels provided. The staff were helpful and kind.

It is quite tired and in need of an update.

The breakfast was very good value for money. The hotel was very clean inside. Loads of car parking spaces. Staff very friendly. Lots of choice in the tea tray as usually find one or two milks and there were lots here. Towels very white and fluffy.

The outside spoils the impression of the hotel. Windows need attending to as some were crumbling and needed painting. However when you get inside it is far more welcoming. The heating was not on when we checked in at 3.15pm and it was a very cold day and we had been to a funeral and standing outside for a long time. When we went down to reception we were told it was on a timer and didn't come on until 4. We left for the wake and upon our return the roomy was lovely and cosy.

Someone taking a phone call at 1.30 am right outside our door and very vocal.

Breakfast was good with a good selection of both hot and cold. The room was pleasant and clean. Maybe could have done with hot chocolate among their tea /coffee selection and an available box of tissues. The staff were very pleasant.

We were informed there was no lift and the possibility of having to climb two sets of stairs when we booked which is indeed what happened. A hotel of this size though really does need a lift, something the owners really should consider investing in.

Opted to pay for breakfast and on first date not enough cooked food left for non meat eaters. No eggs or hash browns. Better on Sunday day leaving.We reported the hot sink tap which was not working properly as we were leaving.

Outdated in the rooms, only one power point and that needs updating to usb plugs. Soap made in China,
