Boat & Horses Inn

Clean rooms, quiet location. Good breakfast. Nice bar/ restaurant attached

Location,staff,bed comfortable

Price felt a little expensive

Staff very friendly and accommodating. They put a doggy hamper in the room.Great location to visit my family.

There wasn't anything to complain about even when they are doing work outside on the night no noise.

I was staying in room 201 next to the lift, the entry door to that area slam shut each time someone went through the door , this resulted in disturbance through the night. The door required servicing, I informed the receptionist.

The noise from the closing door leading to all the rooms from the lift on the first floor.

Location , value and having a brilliant pub onsite . Food delicious

Housekeeping could be better seemed overworked and understaffed .. not very welcoming as we were returning guests from NZ

Location next to motorway

Access to main road leaving car park is terrible - you have to join the queue leaving CostcoRoom had smoking burns on the table

I would like to say a special thank you to the man on the front desk who made the effort to help us on Christmas Eve when we needed help finding an open store to get last minute essentials. And was also kind enough to bring up four extra pillows. You saved our night!

Staff are excellent and breakfast is superb, we have stayed here for work 5 times now and never been a problewm

I love EVERYTHING about the Boat and Horses. The location is perfect, it is spotlessly clean, the staff are lovely, and the bedrooms are so cosy and comfortable. I’ve stayed here twice now and am just about to make my third booking!

Absolutely nothing! It’s perfect for my needs and I love it.

Excellent food and staff

The bed, was very uncomfortable, full of big dips and bumps and desperately needed a new mattress or bed base

Food was good Beer was crisp in taste Location really good Staff was welcoming all round Would stay here again

It was all good

Travelled from Scotland for a family funeral and the staff were brilliant so friendly and welcoming. Room was ready early, got parked in disabled area right at the door. Food was great as always as we’ve stayed before.

The room was spacious and clean and comfortable.

We felt the breakfast items could have been fresher.

Perfect location for our needs, lovely staff, excellent food and very good value for money.

Nothing. It was perfect.

There is limited choice of accommodation in the central Oldham area. And the Boat and Horses was in a great location for our needs. The room and bed were a good size, clean, although fairly basic. It had a nice shower room.

A small fridge would be a great addition.

It’s a convenient location for the velodrome.Love the pub and food. Good value, nice atmosphere

It does feel a bit dusty. Could do with a refresh. Having said that, really good value for a nights stay.

The breakfast was fresh hot and a great choice, clean restaurant and only a couple of steps from our accommodation; the staff in both the hotel and restaurant were friendly and polite

Absolutely nothing; it was great the beds were comfortable and plenty of brew gear and extra at reception if required

Location was perfect for the short drive to the co op live. Very friendly reception. Room was large and very clean. Bed nice and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

Nothing to dislike.

Bed was super comfortable! Slept so well with a room right next to the river.

The cups available at breakfast were very small

Easy to get to and the staff were very polite and helpful

The room wasn’t as clean as expected as one of the mugs had stains on the outside and there was a pot noodle wrapper under the table.
