The Landmark Hotel and SPA Leisure Club Dundee By Sunday

It's was very quite and peaceful the facilities are great definitely would stay again

Under the bed was messy and dirty it looked like it hadn't been hovered in a long time

+ complimentary free parking (as the restaurant was not in fuction)+ spacious room+ kettle, tea, coffee (decaf!) and cookies+ bottles of water+ comfortable beds+ extra seat in the room+ rack to lay the suitcase on+ comfortable bathroom+ toiletries+ spa facilities (even though we did not use them)

Staff were friendly and the location was convenient off the highway.

Spa and leisure club is a bit misleading with there just being a small pool and gym. The facilities and rooms are past their prime. Also the historic building/restraunt was closed during our stay.

Place is run down water marks on ceiling, carpets are stained, and very bad smell of urine in the bathroom.

Wasn’t informed about the fact the kitchen and bar was closed and had been for over a week! If I had known about this I would have booked something else.

The location was good, the room was satisfactory.

On arrival I was informed that the kitchen was closed and no meals were available. Only after I had settled into the room and logged onto WiFi did I find an e-mail telling me of the closure, by which time it was too late to change plans. I asked the staff member in reception where I could find dinner and breakfast and the response was unhelpful. More should have been done to at least provide serial, toast, juice and tea/coffee, all of which could have been provided without a fully functioning kitchen.

Nice clean and comfortable rooms

The restaurant and are closed with no reason given, I wasn't informed on booking only to turn up at 18.00 after a 4 hour drive that I had to go back out to find a place to eat

Location was close to waterfront

No food or drink facilities..no bar or kitchen available. Smell of burning from the cleaning equipment. Room were dim and not the cleanest

Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The pool was a bit too cold, which ruined it for us. We didn't stay in it for long.

The kitchen was being refurbished so there was no food at all available and the bar was closed.

We have been many times before and really like the hotel

Unfortunately the quilt we had was not really suitable for the time of year - I did not feel cosy, which was the first time I have felt like this in my many visits to the hotel

Pool was great, just right for my son who loved it, bed was super comfortable and room was overall very good.

Possibly that anyone can use the facilities, not just guests of the hotel, the changing room was very busy

Hotel had closed the bar and restaurant without informing me. As the hotel is out with the city centre meant that we had to drive into the centre. Meant one person couldn’t enjoy a glass of wine with the meal. Hotel has a weird vibe. Padlock/keypad entrance to the rooms. No room keys.

Spa facilities were good

Kitchen was closed as was the bar having booked for bed and breakfast were extremely disappointing with hotel being far out of town was not a great experience plus the fact they never contacted us to let us know in advance which was poor service

Sauna & Steam room were good.Swimming pool is more like a splash pool, great for kids as the deepest part is 1.2m.Rooms were a good size and property is clean.Close enough to the hospital.

Rooms starting to look dated, in need of paint freshened up in areas.Shower was too hot, especially for kids. There is a bath though, so not a major problem for us. Restaraunt was closed both nights, plenty other places to eat not far from the hotel but not really ideal if you didn't want to drive. Family of 5 needed to book 2 rooms, told no interconnecting rooms. Room had interconnecting door.

The bed was big and the shower/bath was strong/warm

I stayed here for a valentine's night away and days before arrival I spoke to the hotel to arrange a surprise for my partner, they suggested they can arrange flowers or chocolates, I said that'd be great and to be specific with my partner's name. Upon arrival there was nothing done and when I messaged to ensure if it had been sorted out, they said to speak to the front desk, which was a bit too late.The room was absolutely freezing, the booking said we could adjust the heating but aside from turning the one radiator in th corner up to max, it was still very cold.The bath had mold around the edges, the towel had a big black hair on it, the walls and halls were either mouldy or just falling apart, the office/laundry rooms were left open so giant GDPR breach there. There was 4 signs saying to pay for parking on arrival, so we did, then after the 15 minute wait to check in they said we shouldn't have paid for parking as the hotel can sort it, a sign to advise of this would've been handy/saved us money. Another sign at the check in desk (NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE UPON BOOKING) is that the kitchen and bar are closed so there is zero food or drink services at all throughout the stay. I should've been warned by checking the reviews of the place prior as we won't be staying again.

Pleasant staff, good location. Excellent shower. Comfortable bed.

Unfortunately, we were not aware that the kitchen was undergoing refurbishment and therefore the bar was closed and there was no food available.

Enjoyed the pool/sauna/steam room

Disappointed on arrival to find out the bar & restaurant were closed due to maintenance, we planned for dinner there & had pre-paid for breakfast so a bit frustrating to have to leave the hotel & eat elsewhere, an email in advance would have helped,the reception staff gave no apology & seemed very blasé about the whole situation, we have been to this hotel 6 times but we now feel we won't return
