I have been staying there regularly. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is clean and the location is handy.

What did I like? Location was good for what we wanted.have stayed here a few times before and came back as was a lovely hotel, feel since Claudia has left has gone down hill. We have always gone back to the bar at the hotel after going out.this time they had no white wine at all, the member of staff found a bottle but wasn't sure what it was,? So no night cap, the following morning there was one member of staff run off her feet servings everyone, the toast was burnt, no where as good as previous stays. Unfortunately will be looking for somewhere else in future

Location is good to be close to town within a 13 min walk and car parking provided securely

I stayed here before but in the main hotel - the rooms there are a lot nicer - however I was in the Annexe at the back of the hotel - tired rooms and corridors with a step which I fell asleep I didn’t see needed to be marked as I wasn’t the only one that fell I heard another person fall the same as me . Room wasn’t the cleanest with mould in the bathroom . If you are staying here and they direct you to the back don’t stay !! Ask for another room but in the hotel part ….disappointing I won’t stay here again

Good location for city and park

Windows onto car park so choice of people staring in or sitting in dark. Pillows too fat and hard

Good parking just behind the hotel, decent breakfast, good value.

    9StevenPosted on: 4-18-2025

All good. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and a good size. The staff were exceptional. ?

    Nothing I didn't like.

    3WynnePosted on: 4-3-2025

    Breakfast was fine.

The room was awful. Booked an Executive Room, and got a room with an ordinary double bed not a queen bed(as advertised) No bedside table/shelf on side of bed, which is very poor. Room was on busy road front, no double glazing so it was noisy, even with window shut. No way of cooling down room. Furniture in room was also poor.

We usually stay at Ely House when we visit Wolverhampton. The welcome is always warm and the staff very helpful. The beds are very comfortable and we get a good night's sleep. The facilities are clean. There is ample on-site free parking. It's also good to have a well-stocked bar and a comfortable lounge to come back to at the end of the day.

Great location and a beautiful period property. Grand room for breakfast, an interesting lounge and ample parking. The man at reception (who also served breakfast) deserves a special mention. He was excellent, providing a warm welcome and being very helpful throughout. He is a credit to the hotel and makes a difference, even providing advice on an alternative route home that proved to be very good advice!

Double bed is a standard size. I prefer a king size .

Reception was very good; breakfast and waitress was very good; car park very good; size of bedroom was good; hot water was good

Bedroom was totally soul-less and did not appear on any of the pictures on the website. We booked this hotel mainly because it described the wonderful restaurant and dinner: this was closed since Covid

    8SavannahPosted on: 3-17-2025
