- View was amazing. Staff friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Nice loacation.
- I've stayed at the Osborne several times, the rooms and the apartments. I re- book because I like it!The food was good in general.
- The hotel looks a little run down from outside but it’s beautiful inside! Our room was so clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Have to make a special mention for Faye who was so amazing with my 6 year old daughter. The staff really made our stay wonderful. The pool was ok, needs a refresher as its quite dated but it was good enough for a swim and we enjoyed it. Breakfast was quick and delicious.
Cons -
- Restaurant tables sticky. Food awful. Had to ask for room on an elevator floor as I have disability.
- Pool area was a little dated. The £100 pre authorization still hasent come back on my card over a week later. Wasnt sure why we even had to pay it and was only advised a week before so wasnt happy about that but is what it is.
- I think that the swimming pool could be cleaner, and At least 1 visiible member of staff there. Not their fault at all, and it could be me (?!), but each time google maps let me down going to and from the hotel Also another guest said his sat nav had sent him round in circles. Maybe the hotel can give guests additional guidance to get there?

Everything was perfect!
Clean and tidy fantastic customer service .We have our wedding booked here in November , Haidee is fantastic along with Steven , we ate in the crescent the food was brilliant and we are truly excited for our wedding now .
Location, big rooms cleaned daily, nice facilities, and great food.
Parking is a bit of a pain, and the lift seems temperamental, breaking down twice in 24 hours. There are also a lot of steps if you have mobility issues.
The room was beautiful and very spotless throughout. The views from our suite were breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. The staff at The Osbourne are all extremely welcoming, cheerful and helpful at all times.
The mattress was just a little too hard. There were no coat hooks in the room.
Parking view of sea
cooked breakfast was not freshly cooked especially sausage, bacon and scrambled egg
We love the hotel and particularly like the welcoming staff, the position of hotel, the restaurant.
We had a Junior suite but thought the suites had the bigger beds which was not the case
The Osbourne Suite was lovely with a sea view. Food and service were excellent.Staff were cheerful and helpful.
It would be good to have a towel hook by the wash basin and coat hooks near the door. It rained heavily during our stay and coats were too wet to hang in the wardrobe.
We had a lovely spacious room on the top floor
The lift wasn’t working for 24 hours so we had to climb up and down 64 steps!
Customer service, so friendly, spotless and lovely food
Nothing i am a repeat customer and if i did not like anything I would not come back
A very stylish hotel which retains its grandeur . The staff were welcoming and friendly.
The lift wasn't working and our room was on the third floor !
Excellent hotel, it has so much to offer at a very good price. It is a very good location, with the Meadford Beach Cove at the bottom of the hotel's garden, and just a 3min drive to the main Torquay Beach and Harbour. Staff were very friendly and proffessional, the hotel is well kept and a good size for each room. The food is good quality, and a short waiting time. Overall, it is an amzing hotel experience and i will be booking again!
I found some surfaces weren't dusted such as lights, the TV stand, and the headboard of the beds. I also found the bathroom to be clean, but the taps and showers needed a dry cloth to buff the metal to leave the really clean and proffessional appearance. Same for the shower glass and the toilet was only wiped over on the seat, yet it was apparent that the under seat wasnt cleaned well. That is me being a bit picky though, overall the hotel cleanlieness is a solid 8/10, and communal areas are all very well kept, and main surfaces are good standard too
location and view beautiful, would hope to come back in summer and stay again with that view - cooked breakfast nice, but for some not enough, staff very polite, friendly and helpful
the only thing for us is the bed wasn't long enough for my husband at 6 foot 2, his feet were hanging off the end of the bed, everything else was great
Staff excellent - friendly efficient & professional. Room spacious and spotless. Facilities excellent
Fantastic location, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional, definitely worth dining in the restaurant!
Beautiful looking Victorian hotel.Large room Comfortable bedCleanWarmExcellent staff who were friendly and efficient
Narrow bath to stand in to take a shower
Lovely setting, building and location.
Room needed some maintenance and attention as worn out and cracks etc. other than that a lovely place and friendly staff
The sea view, the room and the lovely breakfast
The swimming pool changing facilities weren't great
