Loved the restaurant and the food. Absolutely brilliant.

Love the setting. Amongst the trees and a beautiful view of the sea.

Our suite was amazing
The breakfast wasn’t great. The hot tub blew out lots of dirty water and scum when switched on initially.
Lovely breakfast with hot options cooked to order. Food on the Set price dinner menu was excellent quality, and wait staff were fantastic.Eclectic English country house furnishings and decor.
Fixed dinner menu was a little expensive (and many items were extra on top of fixed price) The walk to the beach/cliff top was further than we'd expected.
Very friendly, immaculate decor extremely well laid out, highly recommend. Food was lovely.
We upgraded to a Garden Suite with Hot Tub and well worth the treat and tranquility,! The cheese and wine was delicious!
Cane furniture in bedroom not in keeping with the stunning four poster. bed etc Biscuits in room and cheese plater cheap and uninspiring.
Friendly, courteous staff.Comfy beds.Excellent restaurant. Ample car parking. Some rooms have compromised headroom.
Staff and food amazing! Views stunning!
Tucked away grand hotel. We booked it as a stop on our swcp walk and was very pleased with the room staff and food.
Lovely place and everything was nice and clean. The place was clean and had a sea view in the room we stayed.
Everything, had a nice feel to like all Manor House’s. The staff were very friendly and polite and courteous, offering advice on where to go locally for site seeing.
Stunning Manor House in beautiful location. Attention to detail in the rooms was exquisite. There were lots of small finishing touches that were just wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The communal areas were fantastic in their decor. We ate breakfast at the property which was excellent. There was a good choice. Everything was hot and well presented. Dinner in the evenings was on another level. The menu each night was varied and the food was absolutely wonderful. It was not only cooked to perfection, it had excellent presentation. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. You will not be disappointed with your stay at this hotel and if you have a love of food, then this is a must to be visited on your travels.
Good location SeaViews Quiet Good parking and EV charging available
It was a beautiful periodic property. Very elegant. Very clean.
Everything was an excellent standard. Unfortunately the hot water in the morning was not working. But a quick phone call to reception had that sorted within 10 minutes.
We needed to upgrade and the staff made an exceptional effort to accommodate our request for an upgrade. Unfortunately Booking.com didn’t handle our request properly and it was the hotel staff themselves that sorted out the mistake from Booking.com
Booking.com could have correctly carried out my request but it seems they didn’t contact the hotel despite informing that they had!
Enjoyable stay with the family.
The two rooms lost power on the second night. We were unable to shower because there was no light in the bathroom or the main light in the room. Disappointed as we had paid so much for the rooms.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and a lot of fun to talk to. The meals were some of the best I’ve ever had.
Carpets are showing their age but really still in keeping with the era.
Very peaceful location in lush grounds. All food excellent and the restaurant fully deserves its star rating. Hotel beautifully appointed. Several rooms are on second floor up steep steps - and no lift. Comes with the territory of the hotel being a quirky Victorian villa
As above - no lift
Beautiful location and rally helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The ensuite seemed like it had been fairly recently refreshed and was very good.
Although tea and coffee facilities were available I didn't see any caffeine free/herbal teas available in the room. The breakfast didn't start until 8am which was a bit too late for me as I had to get away for a meeting.
