Livermead House Hotel

Receptionist was superb,so incredibly helpful ,she exemplified how staff should care....A credit to the hotel,well done .....

Room was quite small for a large double that I booked but never mind .....

Absolutely Amazing Staff,very accommodating and professional food was outstanding we were there for a wedding and it was fantastic from start to finish,my only issue was our room was so hot and quite small, we left early due to myself having a bad back so I was very uncomfortable and couldn't pace the room and bed was too hard however that's not a bad point for the hotel I was just in a lot of discomfort we will definitely come back and maybe choose a bigger room but we loved being made to feel so welcome well done livermead Hotel

Brilliant location just across the road from the sea. Great food freshly prepared breakfast cooked to order. Lovely pool and relaxing gardens.

Could do with a touch of decoration overdue a renovation. Brighter decoration for inside the Hotel.

Shower didn’t work and what water there was was cold, toilet didn’t flush properly. Very dated decor. Very disappointed as this was supposed to be atop hotel

The room was dissapointing, I half expected Basil Fawlty to jump out! Terribly dated, beds were lumpy, no duvets, blankets and sheets were provided which I had got into my head hadn't been washed! Thin pillows we had to fold in half. Noise was unbearable through old sash windows, hearing chefs on their breaks having conversations, bins being emptied etc. The hotel is a lovely old place but in need of an overhaul now.

Very good location, comfortable beds, clean rooms, helpful staff, plenty of parking, swimming pool and jacuzzi.

A bit outdated, very hot rooms as there is no air conditioners in there. Our car got scratched in the car park during our stay, but there’s no cctv cameras to find out who did it.

Comfortable, spacious and relaxing. Great parking facilities.

Couldn’t fault the facilities.

Breakfast was good, as was the evening meal. Liked the sea views. Because it was an older building it had bags of character. Liked the roomy lounges. Plenty of parking available.

The room was very hot at night which made sleeping difficult.

A bit tired in terms of rooms, rather 1980 in design and feel. Our room was cosy?

Location is excellent, very nice welcome by receptionist and bell boy. Good table service for dinner.

For the price, cooked breakfast was very limited, however, there were cereal's and fruit and cold meat and cheese available. The cooked breakfast was certainly not value for money. The coffee was cold and we had to ask for it to be heated.Room (29) was at the back of the hotel, security light on all night outside window, kitchen fan running 24/7. Poor decoration, very dated, barely adequate electric shower over the bath, certainly not a modern touch. Bed very hard and uncomfortable. Fish for main course at dinner, cold, which spoilt the whole meal, very poor and disappointing.

Right on the sea front, staff were super nice and helpful. Traditional Breakfast choices were really great with tablecloths, napkins and silver! Strong WiFi. Rooms were dated but very clean. Liked the old lift. Stepping back in time.

Out dated decor poor furnishing, bed too hard, feather pillows, mouldy bathroom. Thin walls, no double glazing, backed onto bins, poor breakfast, no power on last night due to outage
