Overlooking the bay just 200 yards from Torre Abbey beach, The Heritage Hotel Complex features a prime south facing location in the heart of Torquay. The hotel has 24 bedrooms of which the majority of rooms have sea views. All rooms have private bathrooms with either a shower or a bath. All rooms have hairdryers, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. There is free wifi throughout the hotel. Sky TV features in all rooms except the 3 garden rooms which are Freeview. There is also an indoor pool which guests have access to for a small charge. The Heritage Hotel complex also features Appleby's, the adjoining bar and restaurant, which is one of Torquay's best-known destination venues featuring bay views, a spacious bar and lounge area with large-screen HD TVs showing live sports. The bar also has a large sun terrace which you can relax on and soak up the sun. The restaurant offers a variety of breakfast options to include continental and cooked options. Delicious lunch and evening meals are also served seven days a week. The Heritage Hotel is just a short walk from Torquay harbor, the Riviera Conference Center, Princess Theater and town center shops. The hotel has its own car park and is next to a large public car park. The car park is free and is on a first come first serve basis.

The hotel has many great views whether its in the room or eating for breakfast. Being connected to applebys means you can meey friends for a drink and play pool.
Location and facilities
Smoking area when bar was closed did not have any lights outside. Sadly one of the party has a knee injury although we had a ground floor room there were a lot of steps.

Room spacious for two people, bed very comfortable, location good, near to town, breakfast was alright, would be better if there would be more vegan/ vegetable options in breakfast and in the restaurant.

Only downside for us was the bed and pillows but that is our personal preference.
