    Pros +

    • Firstly the staff are warm and welcoming in a none performative way, they are genuinely happy and will make you feel very welcome, they sometimes even go an extra mile like offer you an upgrade to make you happy. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the toilets and bathrooms are high specs, bed is very comfortable, environment is quiet and I love the coffee pods.I always feel good about spending time at this hotel and am a regular, I can be very particular about details so am very pleased
    • Location is perfect and rooms cosy
    • We had a lovely stay. Very welcoming and friendly staff. All nice and clean and we had a junior suite which was great. Breakfast was extremely slow but good.

    Cons -

    • I only wished the TV was as colourful as the one I have at home, it’s a smart tv but the pictures could be better, but then again I don’t know if this is just with the particular room I had used a few times so will try other rooms another time. Not a big issue am sure for so many but this is something I would change if I could, but it’s not a deal breaker for me, it’s always an excellent experience spending time at the hotel.
    • Occasionally a bit empty feeling - front desk often not manned
    • Very slow breakfast service (45 minutes). Pre-buttered toast! Not something I like but there is no buffet area where you can get your own toast and no butter on the table. Parking isn’t good. Even pulling up outside to drop off luggage can be a problem as there’s no dedicated space. Private parking is further up the road and it was fully booked so most of our party had to park elsewhere. Luckily we had prebooked but it’s not ideal with luggage and in bad weather. And spaces are very limited so the other members of our party had to find elsewhere to park.

    Good location

Parking issues, ignored emails, deposit request with no good reason, staff comments towards others feeling uncomfortable, not asked at any point how our stay was. Disappointing but the area was lovely. Will definitely pick another place to stay next time

There is parking, but has to be paid for.The staff on reception were exceptional. Very helpful, pleasant, an absolute delight. The food in the brasserie, although fairly pricey, was really good. I would recommend it.The hotel was in an excellent central location, close to the Pantiles.

I didnt like the green light in the bedroom which was continually on, therefore it was too light in the room for good sleep. Although we did not approach the hotel to see if it could be turned off… I certainly couldn’t turn it off.

    Lovely room and nice hotel

Shower pressure could be higher, location terrible for parking. 10min walk nearest car park that looks dodgy

    8VivcPosted on: 1-28-2026

Close proximity to where we needed to be. And it had a bar serving cocktails. Tunbridge Wells had no water up until that morning, so everyone did really well to open up, giving us plenty of bottled water in the room. It was nice and quiet overnight, but that could have been because not many people seemed to be there as a result of the water situation!

Paying for parking quite a way up the road in the freezing cold!

Great location, clean and comortable rooms

Hotel bar didn't seem to have much choice of drinks at the time

    9NataliePosted on: 1-24-2026

Bathroom facilities exceptional best bathroom in a hotel ever!

Breakfast menu not clear whether (if you'd paid for it in adance)you could only choose one item or one from each section as they were individually priced for external customers

    4GeorgePosted on: 1-24-2026

Location is good but the hotel is dated.

The cleanliness and the dated tv.

    9BeverleyPosted on: 1-22-2026

Room modern, clean. Fair price Great location. Didn’t eat in the brasserie so cannot comment.

    7CarolePosted on: 1-18-2026

Staff were helpful in reception. Breakfast good choices and very nice

No coffee in room only tea. Bathroom floor not washed. Bedroom carpet needs a shampoo lots of marks and stains. Safe door been left locked open so could not use

    Everything

Through no fault of the hotel our stay was cut short when the hotel closed because Tunbridge Wells had no water. The water issues (courtesy of South East Water) coincided with our arrival and spoiled our visit.

We had the house & it was very nice & right opposite the wedding venue, parking is very restricted around the area but found a space in the end,The hotel breakfast was very good & hotel is very well located to the town centre & Tonbridge wells was a lovely little town & well worth a visit inc staying at this hotel

Beautiful Hotel, Friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Having no parking, was a slight inconvenience, but managed to find a car park 5 minute walk away.

    Beautiful hotel, in great location

Lots of stairs and slightly confusing layout

    8CarolinePosted on: 12-18-2025

    Location

No parking nt even disabled parking when we asked was offered said we would have to pay £12

    9AngelaPosted on: 12-16-2025

Cannot comment on parking. We were upgraded to a junior suite as there was a problem with our room. We were very happy with that. And although it was chilly they soon sorted it out. Very comfortable and the icing on the cake was a christmas tree in our room. Breakfast was good - staff were very attentive and efficient. We would definitely stay again - we are fairly frequent travellers to Tunbridge Wells and this has been our most comfortable hotel.

To be honest there was nothing not to like. It was all good.
