Everglades Hotel

Everything about our experience at this hotel was spectacular. From checking in, to the comfortability of the bed, to dinner and the rock star gentleman working in the restaurant. This hotel is definitely on my list if I find myself back in this area!

Great food , comfortable room and great service from friendly and professional staff.

The staff were v v pleasant & professional. The towels & bed linen were so luxurious . The toiletries had a beautiful scent & I was delighted to see reusable bottles for shampoo & hand wash.The library bat was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious

There is an offer on the hotel website , under FAQs , re being allowed a 1pm checkout if you booked lunch. This offer is seemingly unavailable so maybe remove mention of it from the website .

The best hotel to stay in Derry. Staff are alway nice and food is great. We only stay in this hotel if we visit Derry.

Perfect, clean and tidy, well laid out , food presented perfectly. Staff were neat and tidy and friendly and attentive. Could not have been better.

The drink at the bar was very expensive. The hotel was very warm but easily sorted by using the fan in the room and switching off the radiators

Ordered breakfast in room for a fee of £5. It was an outstanding Irish breakfast! Myself and my wife will be back. We left feeling totally rejuvenated. Thank you Everglades

Maybe a bath instead of shower in room. Not a big deal though

The room was great, the bed was huge and it was lovely and warm.

Some elements of the breakfast could have been better.

Breakfast was cold and dry, the room was warm and stuffy despite having the windows open and on several occasions the response from the staff wasn't great e.g.having to ask several times for a menu in the bar, or asking for reception to call us a taxi and they pointed to a list of numbers. None of this is major but small issues that nag.

It's a wee bit out of the city so you need to be aware that it's a fair walkWe visited for a show with a group of friends and we had 4 rooms beside each other. The rooms were spotless as was the bathroom. It was one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept on.The downside was the price of drinks at the bar! Everyone I met was talking about it. 2 glasses of wine £19!I had an issue with a warm bottle of white wine, the manager dealt with it with charm and good grace.All in all we had a great stay and would return.
