Best Western Plus White Horse Hotel

The staff were excellent, room comfortable & it's great having so much access to the pool - which didn't feel as cold.

Paper coffee cups in the rooms now just feels cheap & it would be great having plug sockets on the same side of the room as your bed & not the opposite side of the room. Especially as the price has increased quite a bit

Room was lovely, staff & food also lovely

Pool is still freezing so my son couldn't stay In long. Also family changing rooms would be good as my son is autistic & cant change himself & the 1 disabled changing room is usually busy

Room was a bit smelly.

Really nice hotel, large warm room with a super large bed and comfortable chairs. A large walk in shower with good hot water. Good restaurant with food with an Eastern flavour. Restaurant staff were tremendous. So helpful towards our handicapped friend. Absolutely lovely dinner experience as a result. Very highly recommended.

The leisure facilities and very clean

Was getting done up upon arrival and the lobby was full of dust and work men

There was no phone in the room to ring down to reception

The room wasn't one I seen advertised it seems like the hotel is going through a revamp so make sure to ask for the newer room. Room we got was fine though I was expecting a different room but hotel and staff where lovely. Also the switches where on other side of the room so couldn't charge your phone ect while laying in bed

Hotel is grand. Bar and restaurant area grand food was delicious, drinks good, staff were lovely. Spa was nice. Room was nice, clean, warm and comfortable. Would recommend.

Spa area could do with an update, I feel like jacuzzi/hottub should be included in price. (Its an additional extra £15pp for 30mins).

It was extremely run down and dilapidated. It reminded me of an old leisure centre. For the price it was really really disappointing

Room was comfortable but unfortunately our view of planks and tin from the outside wasn't really what we imagined for our night away.

Unfortunately when we arrived we found the building from the outside looked run down and did not live up to pictures supplied here on this site. When entering the hotel we discovered it was in the process of being renovated. The lobby was cold and uninviting. My husband and I were away for just one night and had I known of this I would not have booked this hotel. We where not informed of this. I arranged late checkout as we had reservations planned elsewhere for 1pm and didn't want to wait around. Had we not had plans I wouldn't have stayed any longer. Unfortunately we felt taken advantage of with the lack of clarity in regards to the renovation work. I had messaged this hotel prior to arrival explaining we were looking forward to staying there.

Great family hotel very attentive from bar to restaurant and to accommodate needs if needed for the room

Nothing much I didn't like besides early checkout

Breakfast and coffee was very good . The shower in room.was good

The room was small , the bed was uncomfortable, the leisure centre was worn out , maintenance going on in hotel , was just poor quality and not relaxing and would not think it should be a 4 star..

Staff really looked after us

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay the room was excellent, lovely and clean a good size for a family and the shower was first class the food was amazing the staff were all excellent.. big shout out to Alastair the bar manager..he made our stay extra special !!

Only issue I had is we didn't boook longer..will definitely be back !!

Food in restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced,staff were very informative and attentive,clean value for money rooms

The look off it and it was quiet

Underneath the bed there are very dirty knickers in it in room 117 the double bed

Pool area needs a bit of a refresh, paint etc...
