Shower didn’t work. Getting to the hotel from the road was a turn off. In the pitch black it was a nightmare.
All the staff were super friendly and went over and above our expectations to make our stay pleasant. They called prior to check-in to inform us of the road works.
Nothing to dislike
Dirty dusty room , we all had very dry throats in the morning
Room cleanliness
Clean and well situated minutes from Canterbury. The staff were friendly and helpful and made the stay nicer.
Despite it being close to Canterbury, it was inconvenient to access if you left the property. It was sterile and only made better by the staff.
Clean room , quiet , nice breakfast
Paying for parking on arrival
Unlimited quantity of food available at breakfast.Heater in the room worked wellCheck in/out worked well, despite a power cut to the building (which was obviously not their fault - wide area was affected)
Bed was a little small. We requested a big bed, but were told they are all to a standard size. While food at breakfast was unlimited quantity, quality was not great, and only a small selection available. For example, I didn't see any fish...All the staff I saw appeared to be of Indian / Pakistani origin, No white folks anywhere. That suggests to me that some racism has been applied to the recruitment process. (EG jobs given to family, brother in law, etc, and not advertised on the open market to the best person). That upsets me. (Although I will say that all the staff seemed nice and competent)
Very clean, attentive staff and good cooked breakfast.
All good.
Very nice staff. , Nice location, Very relaxing environment
Slightly away from the city center however if you have a car this is not a major issue.
Staff extremely friendly and attentive.Good sized, well equipped, comfotable bedrooms.Good breakfast.
Unlight entrance from main road, I drobe past twice before I realised I had to enter by the service station entrance
Good location on the main road.
Breakfast was really limited, I have a milk allergy so couldn’t have any eggs as it was a pre made mix, with my bacon and hash brown so it was very dry. The road nice was really noticeable and our room was closest to the road which was a shame as the hotel was not busy so could have been further from the road.
The room was very small, and there was a musty smell, as if it were humid. When reported to the receptionist, he said it might be the carpet, as it was a disabled room. He seemed to be aware of this and only said he was sorry about it. I'd not recommend this hotel. Passable breakfast. Dinner at hotel was not very good either.
The rooms, the facilities. Only a very small hall. Not good at all for families with children.
Clean room. Staff were friendly
Wanted extra £50 deposit to pay in cash when we arrived which I didn’t understand. Is a legal tender and should not be penalised for using it. Asked for two single beds on booking and was given double bed so had to go back down to change it. Breakfast was okay, good variety. Eggs awful as always.
Pleasant
£63 for our two dogs to stay in room
Very convenient and friendly, professional staff. Clean and perfect for a short stay
Parking charge
The rooms were very well equipped, clean. modern and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and staff good at clearing, wiping tables ,very efficient.. Staff very pleasant. Good price. Housekeeping very efficient, nice white towels and generous with milk, sugar and tea for room..
Everyone made to wait till 3 to check in.Parking only £3 per night but would be better addded to price of room.Location on A2 dual carriageway so had go a lot further out of way when travelling backwards and forwards from hotel to destination. No bus stop accessible easily.
Clean comfortable good breakfast
Clean and comfortable with friendly staff and good food. Spacious room with seating area, good shower.
Located on the A2 towards Canterbury so return journeys necessitated coming off A2 at Boughton and crossing over bridge to come back onto A2. However I knew this when I booked.
We received a friendly welcome. Room was very clean and spacious, it had everything we needed. Shower was spot on. Bed comfortable and there were two pillows! We ate in the restaurant which had a good menu the food was delicious and good value.
Location, ease of parking. Clean room, bar facilities and breakfast included.
The bed wasn’t to most comfortable of beds. It was smaller than we’re used to but it was uneven causing you to roll into the middle! But it was fine for one night.
staff were friendly and welcoming.
Bed too hard. bathroom very tight and shower was terribly week. Hot water was not regular came through in small bursts. No water in room. room temp was cold on arrival. had to wait a good hour for comfortable temp.
