Clarion Hotel Stavanger

Good breakfast, nice room, friendly and polite staff.

Bathroom needs to be refurbished and was not very well cleaned.

Excellent location, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, fantastic breakfast, wonderful staff. Airport bus stops outside hotel.

Lovely big room but couldn't unpack as there was only a tiny wardrobe with 4 coat hangers (made even smaller as it also contained an ironing board ) - not suitable for two guests staying for several nights! Where were we supposed to put our wet winter jackets?TV offered no foreign language channels - surprising as there are so many international guests.

The Clarion Stavanger has excellent facilities, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were perfect for sleeping, though there was some outside traffic noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the provided breakfast was well prepared, with an ample selection of healthful items.

The hotel is very well located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area on foot and access local attractions. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a good variety and was enjoyable overall, providing a nice start to the day. The room was clean and the atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant.

A couple of minor downsides to note: the TV in the bedroom was quite outdated and not a smart TV, which meant we weren’t able to stream or watch any content during our stay. We were also a little surprised to find the restaurant (including room service) closed on our arrival as it was a Sunday, which limited dining options after a long day of travel. Breakfast was enjoyable overall, however much of the food that was meant to be hot was unfortunately served cold or only lukewarm.

Breakfast was really nice, and a big plus to the staff for taking care of my partner with her egg allergy.

If i have to chose something i say it would be nice with some more choices of making cocktails. even though the choices was very limited the staff still made some nice drinks with what they had.

Good location, walkable to the harbour/main attractions. Breakfast was good. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and had all the basic amenities, even had a kettle as well which was great for us! Overall a good stay, would recommend.

The hotel room was indeed quite pleasant. The room itself was a good size, and the view was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the sky bar and had a very cozy time there.

The level of cleanliness could be improved, especially considering their reputation. There were spider webs on all of the windows, and the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been.

Breakfast was very good, excellent options and quality. The location is central and walkable being very near the min bus/train station. The staff were knowledge and helpful, we enjoyed our interaction with them.

Our bathroom didn't have a lock, which wasn't super problematic but it was odd and annoying. The hotel was very loud, with music through the night from the floor below us keeping us awake. I've never stayed in a hotel where the hotel itself was too loud to easily sleep. Everything else was just fine.

Décor is a bit dated but a super friendly staff and people. Amenities were comfortable and felt comfortable be homey.

Perfect hotel for a stay in Stavanger, delicious bistro and breakfast. highly recommended are the junior suites!

The tripple bedroom was a little too small.

The only hotel (all in the same price point) in Norway we stayed at which had a small side table, which was great to lounge in. Good use of space with a small entry corridor, so the main room felt more spacious. Pillows were very comfortable with one large one for sitting upright in bed and another small one for your head to lay on - very thoughtful. Very large selection for breakfast buffet.

The doors do not auto-lock when you leave the room, you need to swipe to close the room.No on site parking, but you can park in the underground carpark located directly next door for NOK 350 per 24 hours.Bathroom sink was large but the shower was a little narrow (built over a tub), and the water pressure was weaker than expected.

The breakfast is the main reason I stay here. The food is better, the atmosphere is better and it's a much more relaxing start to the day than the 'Blu' hotel.

I really dislike shower over bath. Modern hotels should have walk in shower in at least half the rooms.
